Johann Bach was a German Baroque composer and musician. He was born on 21 March 1685 in Eisenach, Thuringia, and died on 28 July 1750 in Leipzig, Germany.
Bach came from a family of musicians and received a comprehensive musical education. He was introduced to music at an early age and displayed exceptional musical talent. Bach worked as an organist, harpsichordist, violinist, music director and composer.
As a composer, Bach produced an extraordinary number of works in almost every musical genre of his time. He composed works for orchestra, chamber music, church music, choral works, organ pieces and solo pieces for various instruments.
