The Passion Brain | Erin Bigler

At its core, passion is a biological response of the brain that drives behavior. Cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging research has begun to reveal key brain areas and their functions. Dr. Bigler will actually dissect his MRI-generated brain in 3-D virtual space to show centers that influence passion.

Erin David Bigler, Ph.D, professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Brigham Young University (BYU), helped found and was the first Director of BYU's MRI Research Facility. He is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with a focus on how to best image the brain as it relates to cognition and behavior.
