The Image of AFRICA has been DISTORTED around the WORLD & We are CHANGING the NARRATIVE via YOUTUBE videos One Country At Time.Until the HISTORY of AFRICA is told by AFRICANS, the story of GREATNESS will always GLORIFY the IMPERIALISTS!. We are currently in the 6th Region Of Africa which is the AFRICAN DIASPORA to CONNECT the Dots by Bridging the gap between Africans across the Globe
Did you ever feel like giving up on our relationship?
I don't think so.
Are you sure?
Guess who is here?
Hey guys, Miss Judy in the building.
Why are you following me everywhere?
I'm from California, you came to America to meet me.
Very.
Are you sure? Be honest.
No, I'm being honest.
And you know that I was always there.
You know, it was hard.
It's just that I didn't know if we'll ever find solutions to the problem.
That was what was scaring me out.
But apart from that, no, I don't think I ever wanted to give up.
No, not at all.
You know it, right?
I don't know, you tell me.
You tell us.
How are we going to know if you don't tell us?
A very beautiful, peaceful morning from my favorite resort in Ghana.
I'm super excited to be here.
The last time I came here, I was pregnant.
I was actually four months pregnant and I enjoyed this place so much.
It automatically shot up to becoming, you know, my favorite resort in Ghana.
Are you trying to say you didn't enjoy this time around?
That's why I came back.
This is Crown Forest.
It's a nature and cultural heritage resort where nature is preserved
because we are nested right in the middle of a royal enclave.
And whenever you come in here, they really make you feel like a royal.
One of the things that I personally love about this resort,
the fact that they brought wildlife to our doorstep.
Because as a Ghanaian, in order to experience wildlife like this,
you have to find yourself either in Southern Africa or East Africa.
But this resort brought closer to us.
And I was so honored to have one of the richest men in Botswana
ride in this resort with me.
Mr. Mohobe, welcome to Ghana.
Mr. Mohobe.
Yes, yes, Mr. Eldemay.
I never thought I would ever see you in my country.
Yeah, it is wonderful.
I mean, I decided to just take a whole month away from my busy schedule
to just come here to Ghana.
Okay.
And what has your impression been so far?
It has been very, very inspiring.
It has gone beyond what I had imagined.
I've met some wonderful people.
Thanks in part because of having a friend like you.
I've met all these people, I've been energized.
And to top it all up, you know, we came here to Crown Forest.
And Crown Forest, for those who don't know,
is one of the best and most beautiful resorts that exist on the planet.
Let me just, first of all, thank you.
No.
Thank you for bringing us to this place.
It's a beautiful place.
Far away from Accra, about three hours.
We drove all the way to come and enjoy ourselves here.
Three nights, it's amazing.
It's an amazing place.
It reminds me of some part of Botswana, some part of South Africa.
Very quiet.
Yes, I also want to thank Mr. Mofobi for flying me in.
But you're living your best life even more than him.
That's what I see.
No, it's beautiful.
Ghana is home.
Ghana is a beautiful place with very good people.
Very welcoming people.
Please come. Come to Ghana.
Come and apply a lot of shea butter on your skin.
Korea, Korea, Korea, Korea.
By the way, it was absolutely so cool to host I Show Speed out here in Ghana.
And let me tell you something.
2026 has started on a very good note.
And I can actually feel it in my bones.
You know what?
I'm feeling good.
I'm super excited because today is my birthday.
Come on, man.
Did you know?
10th of March is my birthday.
So today, I'm celebrating my birthday with you.
Happy birthday to me.
What a great day the good Lord has made.
If you know my story.
If you know what I've been through for the past four years.
You will celebrate this birthday with me.
You know what I wanted to do?
Like this video just to celebrate me today.
Because I've been through one of the toughest time of my life.
But listen, tough things never last.
But tough people do.
I'm here with you today because I am a tough person.
See this chalet right behind me.
I've cried in here before.
Because life was really dealing with me.
I mean, for the first time in four years.
I'm doing a video without saying that 2025 was extremely difficult.
You know why?
Because I became a dad in 2025.
How does it feel like being a mom?
I don't take it for granted.
How does it feel like being a dad?
I'm just waiting for the day.
My baby will call me, hey dad.
That's all I'm waiting for.
I think it's coming soon.
But I feel like it's a blessing to be a dad.
And if you aspire to be a dad, go for it.
I've been waiting for this day for so long.
And I can't believe that it finally came to pass.
If you're having challenges, don't give up.
Don't give up.
If we are parents, and I guess you will also be.
God will do it for you too.
I was telling them that life was extremely difficult for the past four years.
I guess they don't believe me.
Wow, they don't believe you?
We've had the craziest...
Even before we got married, right?
Yeah, 2021.
It was extremely difficult.
We've dealt with depression, anxiety, you know.
I can't remember.
She talked about her depression.
I never talked about mine.
Have you been depressed?
Of course, so many times.
How did you deal with that?
Because you're just picking yourself up like everything is okay.
Because I always had to stay strong for you.
When I'm depressed, I cannot show it up.
Because if I show my depression, she'll be more depressed.
So, I have to just pull myself together.
And just keep moving.
Thank you all so much for being part of this awesome family.
I really appreciate each and every one of you.
Thank you so much for not giving up on the annoying village boy.
Despite the inconsistency.
I mean, life was tough and I had to learn to deal with it.
That was why I was offline.
Are you new to the channel?
Please, subscribe to be part of this awesome family.
We need to get this platform to 2 million as soon as possible.
But hey, I don't want to talk too much.
Let's dive into the recap of 2021.
I don't want to be personal.
Because I'm that guy who hates to be personal with you guys.
I keep shooting my videos and life goes on.
But from December 2021 to December 2025.
Life was extremely difficult.
You really want to know how life was extremely difficult?
It was so tough to the extent that I started 2025 without workers.
I literally fired every worker of mine.
Not because I wanted to let them go.
But because I couldn't afford to pay them.
Life was so tough for me to the extent that from 2021 to 2025.
I was so inconsistent with YouTube.
To the extent that somewhere in 2024, I did a video titled quitting YouTube.
Some of you thought that was a prank.
I really can't believe that I'm doing this.
But I believe that it's time for me to share this with you all.
From the title of this video, I'm quitting YouTube.
Today is not 1st April.
So don't think that I'm here to lie to you or I'm here to fool you.
This is the same favorite annoying village boy that has been on your screen from 2012 till today.
And it's about time for me to be real with you all.
The clock is tickling.
But that was not a prank.
That was a real video.
I spoke from the heart.
Because when I was filming that video, I was in pain.
What kind of pain am I talking about?
What I was going through was not just about my wife.
But don't forget that I couldn't even speak to my mom.
Because she didn't even remember who I was.
Can you believe it?
She had vascular dementia.
And she talks to you as somebody that she doesn't know.
As a stranger.
Yeah, she talks to you as a stranger.
And that was even way painful.
Yeah, I can imagine.
Can you imagine like you're talking to your parents.
And that's your only parent because his dad passed away.
So this is the only parent he has.
And then the parent doesn't even remember him.
It's difficult.
It was really tough, man.
Bad.
Auntie Maggie.
You had a good time?
You had a good time, but you're not fine.
What's wrong with you?
So that's my mom.
I know you guys have not been seen here on screens.
It's because Auntie Maggie has been sick for a very long time, man.
We thank God Auntie Maggie is back again on our screens, man.
Auntie Maggie, say hello.
In this video, we're going to have a recap of my life in 2025.
I mean, some of the things that I could have done better.
Lessons learned in 2025.
And if you're watching this video and you don't know who I am.
My name is Wadamaya.
Wadamaya simply means my mother.
Because this channel was inspired by my mom.
And at the end of the day, you want to know my real name?
Corbina Akon is my real name.
Those of you who have been updating my Wikipedia, get it right.
Corbina simply put, born on Tuesday.
And Akon is my family name.
I mean, I'm getting personal.
Because I want to have a personal relationship with you all.
Thank you so much for being part of this amazing channel.
Because without you, I wouldn't have come this far.
But I believe that there's a lot that we can achieve together in the year 2026.
Because, listen.
This year, I'm geared up.
This year, my energy that I started this channel is back.
Because I don't have any challenges.
All of them are over.
And that is why I want you all to dance with me, man.
DJ, DJ, give me a song, man. Give me a song.
What song will you give me, DJ?
Happy birthday to me.
Happy birthday, dear Wadamaya.
You wouldn't understand the reason why I'm singing a happy birthday.
Because four years of my life, I never even celebrated my birthday.
That was how tough life was.
I feel like a new bet today.
You know why?
Because the old Maya is back.
You guys should be excited for what is about to happen in 2026, yeah?
But let's dive into a recap of 2025.
Majority of the videos that you watch in 2025 were all filmed in 2024.
You know why?
Because in 2025, I was mentally unavailable.
Most of you didn't even notice.
I was in Lesotho.
What a beautiful country, man.
Best time of my life.
One of the things that you all don't know
is that when I was in Lesotho in December,
when I was trying to create videos...
Welcome to Lesotho, baby!
My wife had a miscarriage when I was in Lesotho.
And just imagine being able to put yourself together
to create a video, to entertain people,
knowing that this is what just happened to you.
So the moment I left Lesotho, I shut down completely.
Because, listen, it was so painful.
My first video in 2025
was actually a video of honoring the man who changed my life.
It's more like I just lost a father again.
I lost a mentor.
I missed a cherished friend.
I lost a man who believed in my dreams.
I believe that since my father died,
no one has ever believed in my dreams
just like how Mr. Herman believed in my dreams.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
And I'm so happy to know that
I put one of my properties in his name.
Welcome to Herman's youth.
My first country that I traveled to in 2025
happens to be the country that saved my life in 2025.
I am super excited because I'm on a journey
to look for Africa's most loved president.
And this is me on a journey to go look for him.
There is no appointment.
I went to Burkina Faso in 2025.
And definitely it was one of the best things that I ever did.
I mean, I was sitting in my room not knowing what to do.
I just woke up one day and I'm like,
Hey, I don't even have a camera guy.
So I call this guy and I'm like,
Hey, can you come with me?
Let's go to Burkina Faso to create something.
I created a beautiful video
ended up as my second most watched videos.
Definitely one of the most creative videos that I've ever created
with the intentions of looking for his excellency,
Ibrahim Tri.
And people love the creativity.
A lot of people enjoyed it.
And I can't wait to meet him in person,
to have a sit down.
Just like the way I'm sitting down today.
This man is the strong man of Burkina.
Strong man of Burkina?
Yeah, strong man.
Oh, wow.
Biggest man in this country.
Is this one?
Yeah.
You know where I can find him?
No.
I cannot find him.
It's impossible.
Very, very impossible.
His Excellency, if you're watching this video,
I'd be so happy to meet you and sit down with you
and also find a way of saying thank you.
Because without you,
without me making that video,
I don't think I would have made it to 2026.
Because the medical bills that I was paying
was extreme.
And knowing that that video went viral,
it sorted out everything.
And you won't believe that because of that video,
I was offline roughly for like six months
and none of you even noticed.
So half of the year, I was literally offline,
making sure things were okay behind the scenes,
helping my wife,
and also being able to sort out all the medical bills
for my mom, my wife, and everyone around me.
In 2025, one of my biggest dreams came true.
I mean, I met the richest black man in the entire world.
And guess where I met him?
Definitely one of the best days of my life.
You know why?
Because I also got an opportunity
to meet the simplest prime minister in the entire world,
to the extent that he became a mentor
and a big brother in 2025.
Can you believe it?
Myself and the prime minister of Grenada.
I have only one question.
There is more like a partnership happening
between Africans in Africa and Africans living in the Caribbean.
What do you think would be the result
if we start collaborating together?
Amazing.
The reality is the diaspora is a natural part of Africa.
Our roots, our heritage is inextricably linked.
And in a sense, we've wasted the last six years
of our right to self-determination
by not rekindling what is the natural connection
between the two of us.
So I think both from a point of view of business, economy,
trade, investment, but most importantly,
the dignity of black people everywhere.
Having the richest man in Africa in your country,
how does that make you feel?
Phenomenal.
It's a pleasure meeting you, Your Excellency.
Listen, one of the things that he did that really shocked me,
I invited him to Ghana,
and he came on a state visit to meet the president of Ghana.
But the day he arrived, guess what he did?
From the airport to his hotel to my restaurant.
Do you all know that we own a restaurant in Accra?
Lamu Restaurant in Accra.
I mean, to all the beautiful people of Kenya,
we got Kenya in Ghana.
So whenever you find yourself in Ghana,
make sure you come, have lunch, dinner,
at Lamu.
And it was really humbling to see His Excellency,
together with his whole entourage,
having dinner with me.
We spent time till 1 a.m.,
even though he had a meeting with the president
the following day.
I went there to support him,
and when the president saw me, he was like,
hey, come here.
And that is why we took my favorite photo of 2025,
standing in between the president of Ghana
and the prime minister of Grenada.
I mean, things were not all that bad.
Despite the fact that I was dealing with a lot,
God was still shining His face on me.
You know why?
Because in 2025, I still became a diplomat.
Bro, I traveled with a diplomatic passport.
I have been in the news lately,
and it's all because of this.
With the powers conferred on me
under NLCD 155,
which is the Passport and Travel Certificate Decree of 1967,
these five very special Africans
are going to receive diplomatic passports
from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana.
So number one on the list
is the interesting young man, Wodim Maya.
Wodim Maya, number one on the list.
I've been arrested, deported,
because of the passport that I used, right?
Congratulations.
Very, very proud of you.
And Ghana has been waiting for this day.
You have put us on the map.
You've made us so, so, so proud.
And we are all excited when we watch you.
You inspire us,
and we want this to motivate you
to do a lot more for the continent.
And one of the most fulfilling moments in my life
also happened in 2025.
Do you know my story?
Do you know that this whole channel started from China?
And going back to the land where it all started,
with the president of the republic, Bra.
I just have to speak Chinese,
because I just landed in China, man.
So...
It's quite emotional, you know,
being back in China, man.
And coming to China after seven years,
I feel like a lot has changed.
I love your outfit.
Thank you.
I love the fact that you've been intentional
with what you wear when you're out of Ghana.
You're representing the continent.
Yeah.
And also boosting the garment industry in my country.
You've been in China for a few days now.
Have you learned a few Chinese words?
Not yet.
Not yet?
I know you speak very fluently.
I wish I could speak it as well as you.
Zhongguo.
Zhongguo, China.
Zhongguo.
Yeah, Zhongguo.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was a good one.
That was a good one.
Tell me God is not wonderful,
or tell me God is not the greatest.
Listen, my life is a testimony,
and the fact that life has always not been smooth for me
makes me realize that God has something bigger ahead of me,
and he just wants to prepare me,
and that is why I go through all the things that I go through.
I am super excited to introduce you all
to our new $100,000 apartment in Ghana.
In 2025, together with my wife,
we set up Maya Homes.
Welcome to the site.
That's your CEO,
and I'm just the content creator of the brand.
As a CEO, I would advise you to kindly wear your construction.
I'm not wearing it because I wanted to keep it as a secret,
but we are here to let you all know that
we established our own real estate company,
and it's known as Maya Homes.
A round of applause, man.
Maya Homes is a real estate company
that partnered with other real estate developers,
so if you are building an estate like this,
you can actually reach out to us,
and we will come sell your property for you.
I am here to announce that
Maya Homes is in partnership with Indigo Homes
to sell their 270 houses
that they are building in Butiman,
right here in Accra, Ghana.
Oh my goodness.
You came to Ghana because of me.
Come on.
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness.
I brought my whole family, my mom, my three kids.
Oh my goodness.
I'm not even dressed properly.
No, it's fine.
I bought this estate because of you.
Because of me.
Hi, how are you?
She believed in the brand,
bought two homes, and Indigo Homes delivered.
So it's about time for us to believe in us
by reaching out to us,
and your home will be delivered onto you.
If you are watching this video,
call the numbers on your screens,
and buy from them.
And trust me, ask for the Wadamaya discount,
and you will surely get it.
But don't forget that in 2025,
I still got opportunity to speak to the CEO of Indigo Homes,
which means that that brand is trusted.
Call, call, call, call.
We are waiting for you.
We are excited for you.
This is amazing.
Thank you.
I mean, finally, you have people
who you can trust to do your construction.
You have people who will not scam you,
people who will keep their word.
When we say the project is going to be ready on this date,
it's going to be ready on this date.
So fear not.
And at the end of the day,
you know where to find us.
You're not going to run away.
You all saw me having the best time of my life in Ethiopia.
So you might be asking,
what was really happening back at home?
My wife got pregnant in 2025.
And each day of the pregnancy was unnerving.
Oh God, help me.
This is worth it.
It's worth it for my baby.
I woke up in a pool of blood before.
She had five different miscarriages.
So I was literally scared every single day.
We're going for checkup every week in 2025.
And I was so happy when we passed the second trimester,
which is six months.
Then we went for our last checkup
and the doctor was like,
Maya, I did the surgery.
I've done my part.
And I believe that the rest,
there's nothing I can do.
So if you can fly here out of the country,
the doctors will be able to know how to save the baby.
At six months pregnant, I disappeared.
Not because I did not want to share,
but because I was scared.
After six miscarriages,
my doctor in Ghana told me something that changed everything.
If this baby comes early,
the U.S. has a better chance of us surviving.
So I packed my bags and trusted God with the rest.
Bro, that was another cost that I never prepared for.
A big shout out to the Ike's family
for the love and support they showed me and my wife.
Because they opened their homes,
they opened their doors for us
without asking us for a dollar.
I mean, I sent my wife to America.
I head to Ethiopia
with a mission of showcasing the new Ethiopia
and also being able to gather a lot of content
so that when I fly to America,
I'll be able to get videos to upload
without people noticing that I'm offline.
It was tough in Ethiopia
because I reached out to almost every ministry
thinking that they would help support
so that creating videos in Ethiopia would be quite easier.
But I ended up finding everything myself.
I ended up finding everything myself.
And at the end of the day,
I have to do what I have to do.
And the saddest part of it all is that
my video from Ethiopia is definitely one of the best videos
that the country has ever seen, hands down.
I don't even want to brag, but I think I need to brag about this.
And the beauty of the video that I did
was that almost every government official posted that video.
But I was also like, I needed help to film this video.
But I never got the help that I needed.
And I'm here to let you all know that
dear Africans, please support our dreams, not the success.
Imagine what would happen to creators on the continent
if you all start supporting our dreams to make our job easier.
I never asked for money in Ethiopia.
All I asked for is, can you help me get accommodation?
Can you help me get transport?
Can you help me transport myself from one location to another?
But at the end of the day, I got none.
But I still did what I had to do.
In November 2025, I was invited by the president of Suriname
to attend their 50th Independence Day anniversary.
And I showed up.
I showed up because I have so much love for the beautiful people of Suriname.
I mean, that's a country that showed me so much love
when I visited for the first time.
So knowing that it's such a special day,
why not just accept the invitation?
But I also accepted the invitation because Jamaica was just next door.
Good to be back here in Jamaica,
even though this trip is not a pleasant one.
I saw what happened.
You all know what happened to the beautiful people of Jamaica.
I mean, hurricane happened,
and I felt the need to be there to support.
I mean, I wanted to go earlier,
but the things that I was dealing with,
there was no way I could go earlier.
But just a week before my wife gives birth,
I showed up in Suriname and Jamaica in 72 hours.
And you wouldn't believe that when I left Jamaica to America,
I got sick the same day because everything that was happening,
what I did within 72 hours was extreme,
that it literally affected my body.
I want to help rebuild,
but I think it's going to be us doing this together.
I mean, I'm here today.
I don't think I can do enough,
but I believe that if we put our hands together,
we can build one home at a time.
I also want to let you all know that there is a link in the description.
We are raising funds to support the beautiful people of Jamaica.
We need to help them rebuild.
Have you seen that video?
Have you seen the link?
Please be part of this,
because you and I, together with them, are one family.
And it's time to help our fellow brothers and sisters.
Because we are not lazy.
We work hard out here, so it's not like we just want to hand out.
We just need some help.
Once we get that help, we can pick up our pieces and move on.
And we really appreciate you guys doing this for us.
One love, man.
One love, yeah.
To my beautiful people of Jamaica,
we are with you.
Don't worry, it shall be well.
I mean, if it is well with us,
it shall be well with you all.
Guy, have you told them how you used to wake up at night just anxious?
Yep.
So I wake up every morning.
The first question that I will ask Judy,
are you okay?
If I wake up at night to go for a short call,
I'll be like, are you okay?
Are you okay?
Then I quickly check the bed
to see if everything is okay on the bed.
And I did that from day one to day nine.
From day one to month nine.
It's insane, but...
It doesn't leave you the same way.
When you go through this, you're not the same person.
Yep.
And personally, I feel like nothing I go through
will give me the amount of anxiety I've gone through
while getting pregnant.
Because after six losses,
you're a totally different person, you know?
You know pain in a different way, you know?
It's crazy.
And the fact that when you see your wife crying,
you can't cry.
When you see her crying,
you just have to act like all is okay.
But you know real men cry, babe.
Like, ah!
The moment she just step out,
that's when I do my own session.
I remember there was a day you found me crying.
It was in Kenya, right?
You found me crying once.
Once, yeah. Just once. Just once.
That day, I couldn't...
That was very overwhelming.
That day, I couldn't hold it anymore,
so I had to just bust out.
But it is well, man.
I think I don't want to say so many things for now,
but I believe that I'm going to give you guys
full details of what we went through
in a proper sit-down documentary.
I can't wait to share all the exciting videos
with you all in 2026.
But I also need your input.
Let me know what you think we can do together
to grow this particular channel
because the old Wadamaya is back.
And I'm here to let you all know that
if you are new to the channel,
you better subscribe now.
Thank you.
Two million by the end of March,
and I will see you all in the next amazing episode.
Peace out!
