I'm I'm a African but you know we are here in Jamaica you know I love that I want you to say it again you an African I'm African but I'm here in Jamaica that's amazing man what do you love about Africa man I love everything about Africa the animals you know the people everything you understand me and this gentleman here is doing a good job please support him like all the way fully way not off what today is Sunday and I want to know how Jamaicans party on Sunday so I'm just going to visit the most popular Beach here I think um the first part I'm going going to go is like the doctor cave that's a real popular Beach it's been going on for years [Music] bear in mind that some beaches in Jamaica are not for free just like the doctor's cave where adult has to pay $8 and if you're a kid and you want to have fun in the doctor's cave you still got to pay $4 what do you think let me know in the comment section I travel to landn so wherever I find myself in a new place I always get curious in terms of how the place got its name so we just made it to doctor's cave I don't even know why they call it the doctor's cave I would love to find out Hi man how are you are you from here every Sunday there's a mineral spring that comes up here we come here people come here to snorkle it's a good destination for when you come off with cruise ships and I'm a tour guide in Jamaica big up I tours ja all right yeah man [Music] this year is the year I said I want to go back to Africa you want to go back to Africa yeah man I want to go to Ghana so Ghana is my you know that Jamaicans are one Unity there's no Jamaican we're African we're all African living in this space you understand I have I have some family I saw the Prime Minister for um Ghana and he look like my grandfather exactly so yeah it is it is very refreshing to see that you come to Jamaica and thank you for coming all the way out here man I and you know you look like Marcus so you know she said she's Jamaican American which means born in America by Jamaican parent right yeah but to me I feel like Africans lack identity crisis though yeah well will you agree with me I I would have to say I'm just African you should have told me that from the start you know I would have been so happy but you know I have so many identities because other people gave them to me I didn't know which one you wanted you know I I want the African One MH like I agree with P Tosh that if you're black you're an African so I love that the fact that you acknowledge that okay you forget those um identities and you identify yourself as Anri you know I think I think black is more expensive than that though I think you know if you have Pathways which most of us do right back to the the the continent right cuz we say the continent cuz we mean just the continent we're not talking about nothing else but how often do you visit Jamaica oh I live here you live here now you move back to Jamaica why did you move back because America is crazy I used to live in I used to live in the Cayman Islands and I move back in Co oh okay yeah so that's how that's yeah it's basically America too it's like a you know color is a all of my coworkers were all white I was one of the only black men on the board you know so when I came back in Co is it just it just solidified that I needed to be home you know I need to be you know where my people are and I can live from that cuz the only thing I need you know is somewhere to rest my head and food to eat don't need excuse me what you came to wa on the boat oh my goodness how did you get here how did he get here hewi to get here G right oh goodness good yeah oh my goodness one tiny yo the guy the guy was on not cruise ship I'm saying cruise ship he on thebo and then all of a sudden I you here oh my goodness good to see you man Big Ups yourself man you just came back from how was it um it was oh great to be in Africa but it felt like the West was your first time it was my first time in Africa in Africa and you chose South Africa yeah why South Africa then um because of the relatable struggle of black people cuz I was born in America so a partti Jim Crow so it was it's I'm a community organizer with the movement for black lives and so that's one thing that always has a tie to is who are we connected to Across the globe that are doing the same work of you know getting in the streets holding people accountable and so forth and so we chose South Africa um and it was great to be there and connect with other people who um have been invested in the liberation of black people through a Pan African um a Pana African lens but it was also disappointing to see um how much it felt like the West the conflict that was still there and like how many people from America will go to Africa or South Africa like oh it's Africa but what they're really experiencing is the facade that we're you know it felt like Atlanta to me it felt just like Atlanta but to see how much of it is in poverty like all that was blew my mind mean I I I I I think um I if you're going to Africa for the first time I would say go to Ghana yes [Music] Ghana this is this is really crazy man like I want to tell you guys something that I'm really seeing in here that I feel like is super crazy and I'm so glad this happened so in Jamaica most beaches are private owned so where we are right now it's a different Beach and when you go to this side it's owned by another owner so apparently they are telling us that we I mean Bri you know I mean like how do I call it how do I call it we broke the rules of Crossing into another Bach but we don't even know because it's just it just open just like this I was just trying to show them the cave that is here and I got lost and uh it's became like a whole issue that is happening then it's like he doesn't want to lose his job and all of that this is super crazy man and the beach closes at 5 yeah they told me the beach Clos are five for non-members this is a members Beach also so you can pay to come in so I'm a beach member so I can stay till six and if you're not a beach member 5:00 you have to go home yeah at this side this side yeah okay it's time to go home then I I I think it's so crazy what is happening in Jamaica I I I I can't believe it you know like a beach is owned by you know individual properties you know like it's like they partition the beaches like the way Africa has been partitioning that this is Angola this is Camaroon and stuff like that and it's super crazy man is this the first time seeing that beach yeah first time first time even make any sense and guess what so even the beach that we are at the moment it's 5:00 if you're not a member if you don't have a membership card at this beach 5:00 you need to go out really oh that's new I've never seen anything like that this is crazy I never taught this day will come that I'll be in the beach enjoying myself and they will cause Security on me and you know the crime that I committed just by crossing a borderline that I did not know that it exists I paid to enter the doctor's cave but apparently there is a rope that divide the doctor's cave and the nest Beach next to me and I did not know I want to ask you a question doesn't really make sense [Music] are you from here are you from yes I'm from here Jamaica or monteo Bay I'm from Jamaica okay I live in Toronto oh okay yeah so how how how are you enjoying your vacation back in Jamaica I love it here because this is my country so okay tell us something that the world doesn't know about Jamaica oh my gosh what the world doesn't know about Jamaica is that the people here they are amazing people they're loving they're kind and you just have to get to know them I know we have our little porks but the people the food that's what I got to say doctors C really leave to the expectations the reason why I'm saying that is the fact that I mean everyone is out here having fun enjoying their time in here it's kind of look like a private beach So you you're safe whenever you find yourself in this beach the people that you meet in here are super friendly super nice white some beaches and it's not too crowded like that's what I'm going to say because sometimes when you go to a beach it's super crowded this place is not super crowded it's just people enjoying having a good time in water there are people that are you know sun b there are people that just want to sit under the umbrella and enjoy themselves are people that love to be in the water but it's it's just like few people having a great time in here I forgot to say this yeah my wife is here by the women that you see in here are super gorgeous man like you see my goodness God took his time to create this woman and place them in it this is one of the beaches that everyone is telling me that you cannot come to moay without checking it out but I love how this part of the city looks super calm oh here I am it's Harmony beach park so it's a beach and also a recreational park where people come have picnic come on a date come with a loved one come with a family to sit read I mean if you want to ride that's okay but it's so cool to see that despite the fact that most of the beaches in Jamaica private own this one is not how are you man how are you buddy I'm good bro good to see you man good to see you more you you're the Luminous water and it's actually like a water that when you jump into it it turns blue it has microorganisms that are harmless so when they are on your skin it glows but it doesn't har you so yeah it's so beautiful and it's only four in the whole world yeah and they said Jamaica zone is actually the largest among the four yeah so that's so exciting we were told you have to go at night you can't here my goodness this is super cool man this place is packed so many forms of entertainment going on here we've got people playing with literal fire but the highlight of the night was definitely the beaches oh my goodness listen Tamica is a paradise Jamaica is so heavily blessed with Gorgeous beaches but the most exciting thing about this whole Beach is that it stretches for 7 mes long so it starts all the way from that side to the downtown which is like a 7 m stretch with ocean what why Sun reaches and see can see f with so many tourists man like the entire place just people enjoying having their best time in Jamaica yet they will tell you that Jamaica is dangerous but everyone is here but there's one crazy thing about this beach that I personally don't like that I want to address about it when you come to Jamaica be careful about that in terms of going to the beach because beaches in Jamaica are more like private property I paid to enter the beach and I got a limit I can't walk out here you see if I walk up here I'm invading somebody else property so I have to walk down here which is okay for you to walk all the s miles if you decide to walk this far but anyway that's not why I'm here I'm here to tell you that Jamaica is beautiful and blessed with so many beautiful beaches especially the beaches that you find in the grill because the beach is private property all the seven miles that you see right here is more like beautified with different Resorts and hotels my goodness and some of them are extremely beautiful [Music] [Music] I'm actually not a big fan of swimming in the ocean but this feels so good and I canot come here without doing this the reason why I'm doing it cuz the water is so shallow and there are no waves so if there are no waves trust me
