We’re visiting Vattenverket Bageri, a cosy Swedish bakery located on one of Stockholm’s islands. Set inside a restored waterworks building from 1911, this bakery has become a local favourite known for its sourdough breads, Danish rye, cardamom buns and seasonal semlor.
In this video, we follow the bakers from the early morning starting at 5:00 AM, preparing sourdough baguettes, laminating croissant dough, mixing rye bread, shaping buns and making traditional Swedish semlor during semmelsäsongen.
