Vintage Overland Rig Canyon Exploring, 4 X 4 Truck Camping & Firebox Campfire Stove Cooking

Have you ever driven past a spot for years thinking, wow! I need to explore that area! I took my old Ford truck and my dog Ursa and we went head long into mystery. The road conditions were rough but the natural beauty kept drawing us further down into the canyon. After hiking into a few side trails, we finally found the perfect place to park my classic truck camper, right under a sand stone arch that stood vertically on the side of a massive rock formation. A beautiful place to set up camp and do some gourmet firebox stove cooking. I used the classic 5 inch G2 Firebox Stove with some new accessory prototypes, including the sumo stand, Heat Shield and Griddle that fit together to form a hard case for the stove and stand. For dinner, I heated some southwest style chili in my titanium BOX-POT while cornbread was baking in the side reflector oven. I fried an egg on the griddle to go on top with grated cheese, sour cream, and fresh cilantro. The cornbread cooked to golden brown perfection, a wonderful compliment to the ultimate plate of gourmet chili. For breakfast, I baked fresh biscuits to go with homemade sausage gravy made with heavy cream and whole milk. Talk about Rich and Hearty! The perfect fuel to motivate me through the tough off-road journey we had to take to get up and out from being in the bottom of this big beautiful sandstone canyon.
