Hungary Vows to Block EU Sanctions on Russia

Hungary has vowed to block new European Union sanctions on Russia and a 90-billion-euro loan for Ukraine. It cited an ongoing outage of Russian oil through a key pipeline. Hungary says Kyiv is responsible for the disruption and that it will not change its stance until deliveries resume. The move comes on the eve of the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Hungary’s foreign minister explained the decision.
