Ukrainian drone operators have eliminated a large number of Russian troops in the snow forest along the front line. In one operation, pilots of the "STRIKS" unmanned systems battalion of the 47th separate mechanized brigade intercepted and successfully attacked two Russian servicemen who were trying to transport a wounded fellow soldier with the use of a sled. Due to the snow and difficult terrain, their speed was minimal, making them an easy target for Ukrainian drones. Video shared in social media shows the “STRIKS” operator precisely guiding the drone directly into the middle of the group. The ensuing explosion of the munition left both the rescuers and their injured companion with no chance of survival. The reliance on sleds for evacuation suggests a severe lack of armored vehicles and proper medical evacuation resources for the opposing forces in that sector. It should be noted that the 47th separate mechanized brigade continues to hold the defence on the most difficult sections of the front, actively using its technological advantage in the air. Another successful operation has been carried out by the Signum mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who destroyed Russian troops in a forested area. Video footage of the operation captures strikes on Russians, their camouflaged shelters being struck by Ukrainian drones. The attack on shelters left Russian troops without food. Russian soldiers’ attempt to hide from the drones fail as they are eliminated while fleeing in a snowy forest. In yet another operation, fighters of the Signum battalion chased down a Russian tank crew in the Serebriansky forestry area in eastern Ukraine. In a post on social media, the brigade explained that the situation was particularly difficult in Yampil settlement which is in a semi-encirclement due to the Russian advance towards Zakytne settlement. The video of the operation shows the targeting of the fleeing Russian troops.
