I stayed at "Tsurunoyu", a hidden hot spring in the Nyuto Onsen village of Akita Prefecture🌟 In the popular "Honjin" guest rooms, limited to just 5 rooms, you can spend a quiet time imagining the winters of the past. On a later day, I visited Akita again to stroll along the Samurai Manor Street in Kakunodate and explore the Yokote "Kamakura" (Snow Hut) Festival. The glowing snow huts at night were fantastically beautiful.
