My Trip to Svalbard (Polar Bears, Glaciers and Solitude)

Svalbard is about as far north as you can travel while still feeling like you’re on the edge of the known world.
I spent 10 days exploring the Arctic on an expedition micro cruise with Secret Atlas aboard the Freya, traveling through remote fjords, glaciers, pack ice, and some of the most incredible landscapes and wildlife I’ve ever encountered - including an unforgettable encounter with three polar bears.
This film is a look at what it’s like to explore one of the wildest corners of the planet, and the unexpected moments that made this journey so much more than just an Arctic adventure.
Huge shoutout to Secret Atlas for making this expedition possible.

And finally, a huge thank you to @darylswalker for joining me as my assistant camera. Check out his incredible work if you have the chance.
