🚗 Check out the slowest & fastest-selling cars in YOUR neck of the woods!
Although car buying has slowed greatly this winter, some brands get all the luck! Ray and Zach take you through the TOP 10 FASTEST-SELLING VEHICLES in the United States for the month of February 2026.
Fastest selling cars, February 2026.
Dad, let's jump right into it.
The fastest selling car in the United States,
well, one of the top 10 is the Toyota Camry.
Coming in at the number 10 spot,
has a 35 days supply of inventory.
Toyota dealers nationwide have 31,472
brand new Toyota Camrys for sale right now.
Yet in the last 45 days,
Toyota dealers have sold 40,991 of them.
Toyota has some ads running right now
talking about their sub $35,000 lineup.
And well, the Camry's at $35,209 on average.
Fastest selling cars, Dad, market day supply 35.
Make it make sense.
Why is market day supply so important for this list?
Well, the market day supply is the average daily sales rate.
And at the current average daily sales rate in 35 days,
if Toyota dealers didn't get another Camry on their lot,
they would sell out of the 31,472 Camrys
that are on lots present.
So it's how long it takes to actually
sell out of available inventory
based on, like you said, the average sales rate.
So as we go through this list,
you're gonna see the numbers get lower for the day's supply.
If you go watch our other video,
which is the slowest selling cars in the United States,
you're gonna see numbers like 200, 300, 400 days supply.
The lower the day's supply,
the less leverage customers have.
The higher the day's supply,
the more pain the dealer's in.
Oh, I like that.
Number nine on the list, Dad, Lexus.
We have the GX with a 30 days supply.
2,378 GXs per sale nationwide right now,
yet Lexus dealers have sold significantly more of them
in the last 45 days, 3,593.
Now the GX will run you $81,000, Dad,
but it's still making the list.
I'm gonna run through two more here.
You know what the good news is for me?
It won't run me anywhere near that
because I wouldn't buy one at that price.
Two more Lexuses here on the list,
and then we'll continue on into the top six.
We've got at the number eight spot, the NX Hybrid
with a 30 days supply, 2,511 per sale nationwide,
3,796 have sold in the last 45 days,
$54,465 price tag on that.
And then the RX Hybrid from Lexus
also has a 30 days supply.
So you have three Lexi here with a 30 days supply
for the RX Hybrid.
You've got almost 5,000 per sale nationwide,
yet dealers have sold almost 7,500.
Doesn't matter now that we're encroaching up
on $65,000 for an average transaction price.
We're gonna get into our top six fastest sellers
in just a second,
but looking at the bottom four of the top 10 list
that Toyota, Lexus, Lexus, Toyota, Lexus, Lexus, Lexus.
There we go.
Yes.
So four of the top 10 at the bottom
are Toyota, Lexus, Lexus, Lexus.
And my suspicion is that we'll see a few more
of those as we move up the list.
We're gonna do the top six here in just a second,
but a great reminder that you can go
and you can see the fastest and slowest selling cars
in your state or in your city.
Now at the number six spot,
a little bit of a surprise on this list,
Mercedes-Benz with the G-Class.
They had a 30 days supply of the G-Class.
937 of them for sale nationwide right now,
yet dealers have about 1,417
that they've sold in the last 45 days.
Now the G-Wagon's gonna cost you over $200,000.
They're selling out faster
than Mercedes-Benz is producing them.
Yes.
And if I'm not mistaken,
that's the new and improved G-Class.
And I think that's why we see
about a $50,000 price increase.
Yeah.
New and improved, ladies and gentlemen.
Now Cadillac comes on the list
for the next two spots at five and four.
And I would say these three together
being bunched the way they are,
it kind of makes sense.
It's don't shoot the messenger here.
That K-shaped economy that we're starting to see.
So at the number five spot, we have the Escalade.
The number four spot, we have the Escalade ESV.
You can see the numbers on the screen right now.
27 and 26 days supply, respectively.
And price points that well above $125,000.
You've got three vehicles here.
And I would even include the GX to a degree in this list.
You've got four vehicles here
that are really expensive, expensive luxury vehicles.
Probably the G-Wagon going in its own class in this.
But still, it kind of shows four
of the 10 fastest selling vehicles in the United States
are really expensive luxury vehicles.
Yeah, really, really shines a light on the fact
that those with money can still afford to buy these things.
And not only can they afford to, they are.
And everyone else is looking for a Toyota
or a more moderately priced Lexus.
Now the top three fastest sellers for February 2026.
Lexus EX coming in at the number three spot.
A 25 day supply.
Lexus dealers have 1,838 per sale right now nationwide.
Yet they've sold 3,278 in the last 45 days.
$50,000 price tag for a Lexus.
Now the Toyota RAV4, the best selling vehicle
in the United States, has a 23 day supply right now.
Toyota dealers have 23,903 per sale.
Yet they've sold almost double that.
46,640 in the last 45 days.
Average transaction price again, $37,389.
So close to those advertisements that they're running right now.
Sub $35,000 price lineup.
And then number one, the fastest selling vehicle
in the United States of America.
Two day at this moment, a Lexus NX with a 22 zero day supply.
1618, 1,618 per sale nationwide.
Yet dealers have sold more than double that
in the last 45 days.
They've sold 3,650, $51,503 for that compact SUV from Lexus.
What a list, man.
It is.
70% of the list is, well, Toyota and Lexus.
And kind of surprising that two Cadillacs
squeezed into this list along with that Mercedes G-Wagon.
You have limited leverage as a Lexus buyer,
the Escalade buyer, and especially that G-Class buyer.
Now let's juxtapose this just for a moment.
If you haven't watched our other video
about the slowest selling vehicles,
that list that has vehicles with 200, 300, 400 days supply.
And we see a lot of expensive vehicles on that list as well.
And we also see some electric vehicles.
What does this say when you look at a list like this?
And we've been doing this now for a year plus,
where we do these monthly videos
of the fastest and slowest selling videos.
What does this tell you about the state of the car market?
Like, obviously these are more in-demand vehicles,
but doesn't that mean that the manufacturer
should increase production of them to try and meet demand?
They haven't seemingly done that.
Like, what does the whole situation tell you?
Or maybe what it tells you is
they can't produce as many as they need.
You can only produce so much of each vehicle
and you can only produce so many so quickly.
Toyota and Lexus have figured out
on-time inventory management better than anybody else.
Their production runs strictly towards
what their on-time inventory management is.
They've kind of perfected it.
And everybody else wishes they could.
It seems like they have.
I will say, seeing this list here,
you still can get deals on some of these vehicles.
We're no longer in the days,
if you're watching this video
and it's been a couple of years since you bought a car,
a couple of years ago,
there were things like market adjustments
and addendum stickers and things like that
on many of these vehicles on this list.
Toyota's were in such short supply,
especially some of the prime powertrains
or hybrids and things like that.
Let me be very clear,
you're still getting below MSRP deals today.
And in general, we've actually seen Toyota as a brand,
their day's supply increase.
So while they still have the fastest selling vehicles
in the United States of America,
the most recent Cox Automotive data
that shows broadly speaking,
the whole environment for the United States,
Toyota's day's supply has increased month over month.
So just trying to sprinkle in
maybe a little bit of good news.
And yeah, they definitely have things dialed in
better than pretty much anyone else.
Yes.
It's just going to take a lot more work
to find a lot more savings.
Again, all that data is available for free
back at CarEdge.com slash fastest
and CarEdge.com slash slowest.
Thanks Pops.
Thank you.
