Hello guys, welcome back to my channel.
Welcome back to a brand new video.
I'm sure a lot of you will be following on
from my previous video where I took you shopping with me.
I went to the traffic center, we headed into Promani,
did a bit of shopping,
and I have a pretty big haul for you today.
Oh, is that not just the best sound in the world?
If you haven't already grabbed yourself a nice drink,
some snacks, get comfy, put your feet up, relax.
You know the drill.
And if you've known me for a while,
you'll know that I am the sort of person
that is really careful with caffeine and my caffeine intake.
Strong caffeinated coffee,
honestly just doesn't sit well with me.
It doesn't love me back.
It makes me feel a bit jittery, a bit anxious.
And then I usually end up crashing afterwards,
which is why I just avoid it altogether.
And for the most part, go decaf where I can.
There are, of course, occasions where I will have caffeine,
but yeah, that's kind of how it can make me feel.
But I found something that allows me
to still feel focused and energized throughout the day,
especially at times like this when I am filming,
doing try-ons, just working in general,
you just don't want that nervous system overload.
So this is what I'm drinking today.
It is Cool Bright in the lemon lime flavor.
I've got a couple of other flavors
that I really like as well.
The raspberry mint, delicious.
They've also got a pineapple mango one,
which is nice and tropical and tastes delicious.
Also blood orange is nice.
Essentially what it is, it's a healthy alternative
to your usual kind of caffeine drinks, your energy drinks.
Focuses more on like a steady energy
rather than that peak and trough and the crash.
I'll pop on screen a QR code and discount,
a QR code and discount code as well for you.
But yeah, I've been enjoying that more regularly,
helping me cut down on coffee.
Plus it actually tastes really good.
Fresh, fruity, very refreshing.
Like I said, with that one being my favorite,
I think that's gonna be my go-to summer drink especially.
You know when you just want that really cold,
refreshing, thirst quenching.
Yeah, they're delicious.
Essentially made with natural ingredients.
So it includes 100 milligrams of natural L-theanine,
I think it's called,
which is essentially a calming amino acid
that helps ease stress
whilst also supporting mental clarity.
And then the caffeine that it does have in it
is the 100 milligrams of natural caffeine,
making it far more gentle, more long-lasting,
combines a natural relaxant and stimulant at the same time
in like a balanced one-to-one ratio.
I know that when I was speaking to the team
and they were explaining how it's created by a scientist
and it's also used in places like Google,
professional athletes drink it.
I'll leave a link, a QR code on screen
for you to click through.
I'll also leave a pinned comment
so that you can easily find that link
and my code which is AFRAMES25,
that will get you 25% off your first Bright order.
Okay, let's get on to sharing with you
some of the bits that I did buy at the shops.
Finding it easier and easier
to spend a small fortune in Primark.
I think given that the prices increase
as well as the quality,
I'm finding more things that I like,
but the price isn't going down, it's only going up.
But anyway, we've got a few of these big bags to go through.
I'm just gonna show you this showstopper on the top here
that I got from the Primark home section.
If you've been to the traffic center,
you know that they've got a whole home store,
you know that we're spoilt for choice
with the homeware now with Primark.
And look how gorgeous this wreath is for spring.
They have quite a few different spring and Easter wreaths.
Around the 15 pound mark, this one was more expensive
because it's part of the Primark edit,
but not only that, it was a lot fuller, a lot bigger.
I love the actual design that they've gone for.
There's a little rope at the top as well,
but yeah, this was 28 pounds.
So not cheap from Primark, but it is gorgeous.
And this will be my new go-to spring wreath
that can pop on our front door imminently
with the little faux hydrangeas
and little like beads and stems, eucalyptus.
I just think that is like a classic wreath,
spring wreath for someone like me who is not a fan of the,
or less of a fan, I should say,
of the Easter spring pastels.
That, beautiful.
I only got a couple of other home purchases,
so I might as well show you these now.
A glamorous wreath to a toilet brush.
I got this chrome toilet brush, seven pound.
And then I lastly got from the home section
a photo frame for just four pound 50.
I loved the shape of it.
It was a really fine border, like metal border
that made me think of one that you would find,
say, on Zara Home or White Company.
I know I often like to talk about
affordable alternatives because they can hike up the price
for, in my opinion, what is just an ordinary photo frame.
If you can get the style and the look for less,
then why wouldn't you?
So yeah, this is what I got.
It's got a border on it as well,
so if you can see the ring light and spotlights in there.
But yeah, really pretty photo frame.
So that's everything that I got from the home section.
Let's move on to fashion now.
And well, the main reason why I went initially
was to go and check out the new Perry Shands range collection
that she's done with them.
I believe this is her second now.
And also, with Primark now being online,
for Click and Collect,
I will be able to link the items that I can find.
So making shopping really easy for you.
These sort of things, the popular things,
do tend to sell out quick.
Now, I got in there, literally,
as soon as the store opened on the day of the release.
But after that, you know what stock's like in Primark.
Either your sizes aren't in or matching sets,
you've only got your size in one half, not the other half.
So I always think Click and Collect
is the best way to be guaranteed finding some of these bits.
So I'll show you the things
that I did get from her range first.
Firstly, this buttermilk, yellow, lemon kind of set
that she styled in the promo kind of video shoot
that she did with them.
And I actually thought on that video it looked quite cream,
and then in person I realized it was more of that
very, very pastel lemon buttermilk yellow,
which I think is gonna be huge again this year.
I know it was big last year,
but I've seen a lot of shops
bringing this color back into stores.
This coat, which I got in a size 10, and it was 16 pounds.
And then the trousers are, I got them in a 12,
and they are, how much, 14 pounds.
So as a set, not too bad at all.
I feel like I'm appreciating the fact
that just because she's able to put her name to the range,
doesn't mean the prices have increased.
I felt like her prices
were very standard generic Primark prices, which is good.
Because you know, obviously they have their collaborations
like the Disney's and things like that,
where they do have to charge more.
That is the first set that I got.
And then the second set, we've got a double denim number,
again with a waistcoat.
So I don't think I have a double,
sorry, a denim vest like this.
And I went for this dark denim.
She does have the jeans,
I believe they're the same or if not very similar,
in a lighter wash.
But I did quite like the matching set
as like a one look thing.
Obviously you can wear them as separates,
mix and match, especially the jeans,
obviously they're just standard jeans.
But they're quite a wide leg.
And also they're high waisted,
which just made me so happy
because I feel like more and more people
are starting to wear lower rise, mid rise.
So yeah, high waisted, wide, regular,
in a size 12 I got.
And then the matching waistcoat,
they have matching buttons.
The buttons are my least favorite part, I'll be honest.
I'd rather them just be like a standard denim button.
In the top I got a small, so it can be nice and fitted.
And then yeah, the trousers,
usually I'm kind of in between size 10s and 12s,
but especially the jeans
that maybe have less stretch to them,
I find a 12 fits me better.
And they fit quite well.
Just have a denim jacket as well.
I don't know if this is part of her set.
I think it is,
because I think there's a matching skirt as well,
like a mini skirt.
I feel like a mini skirt wouldn't suit me in my figure.
But I did like the look of the denim shirt, denim jacket.
Comes with these big pockets on the side.
And I like the denim wash of this.
It's a nice dark, deep denim
that I feel like in spring would be really nice
with like a nice, pretty girly white dress underneath.
16 pounds in a medium.
Another item that I picked up from the range
is this tailored blazer.
It cinches in at the waist.
It's quite a high neck as well.
And it's in a gorgeous, deep navy blue.
I got it in a size 10.
Like I said, because it is a tailored fit,
I thought staying true to size
rather than sizing up for like a boxy blazer,
it's not that kind of a piece.
This is one that you'd maybe just wear on its own.
You don't take it off.
So either just a bra underneath
or just a little vest or something, a little body.
And some jeans would be really nice
to make it a bit more casual.
Or if you have navy trousers would be really nice
as like a suit almost.
It had these muscle tee vest type top.
Seemed to be making a bit of a return.
So I decided to pick up the white.
They had a green color.
They had black as well.
But yeah, this is the ivory.
I got a medium at seven pounds.
So it's got like padded shoulders.
This did have matching trousers
in a size 12 at 16 pounds.
I quite liked the fact that the detailing on this,
the buttons are hidden.
They are sort of like there's an extra layer,
an extra panel to cover the buttons up.
So I thought that looked a little bit smarter
and a good option for work wear as well.
Okay, this one is from the Primark edit
and it's a knitted vest.
And I remember if you saw the vlog,
I was umming and ahhing with this one.
I decided to just pop it in my basket
and then if I've got any returns or anything,
if this, I felt like it wasn't worth the money,
I can always return it.
But it was 22 pounds.
But it is very well made.
What material even is it?
I don't think, it doesn't say 100% merino wool.
That's probably why you're getting
the slightly higher price tag with it.
I also, I was gonna say picked this up
from the edit range, but it wasn't.
This is just standard Primark.
But I've got this short trench.
And now, the short trench that I wear from M&S,
I wear quite a lot, but it's that classic
darker camel kind of trench coat color.
Whereas this one is much more of a lighter,
cool toned, greige-y kind of stone color,
which I thought would be a nice addition
to the M&S one that I've got.
Because sometimes I do put that on
and I've got an outfit underneath
and I'm like, oh, it's clashing a bit with that.
It's too warm toned.
This could be a nice cooler toned option.
So I picked it up in a medium.
It was 24 pounds.
I also got this, which I just thought
was so pretty for spring, as a good little blouse.
Short sleeve blouse, kind of like the smock style,
just loose, comfortable.
So I got it in a small because, like I said,
it looks kind of like, not an oversized fit,
but just a boxy fit.
So no need to size up with this one.
It was 14 pounds.
It's got some really pretty lace detailing,
some embroidery detailing.
I just think this is so pretty
throughout spring and summer.
I love wearing like, embroidery on place and lace details.
Yeah, that just adds that little bit
of extra feminine interest.
This is reminding me of something
Aloe would sell with the piping,
but it's a little sports top, sports bra.
They have the matching leggings.
I don't find the leggings the most flattering
or comfortable from Primark, I'll be honest.
Unless they've changed, but you know me with my leggings.
I'm a Lululemon girl, Hilara, my Amazon Jeep ones,
Lulu Jeeps, they are the only leggings that I wear.
And yeah, I just thought this would just,
paired with like, some black leggings
would be fine for a little Pilates class
or doing some yoga.
And it's only nine pounds.
They had lots of colors as well.
They had like, bottle green, they had pinks.
Speaking of Pilates, I got these Pilates socks
with the grippers on the bottom.
These were 4.50.
I also got some base layers for our upcoming skiing trip.
Given that we are going skiing,
I thought some nice new classic staple,
basic like base layers would be really good.
The only thing is, when I was trying them on,
the gray one fits perfectly.
Can you see the body length?
But the black one has a really long body and long sleeves.
They're the same size.
I've got them both in a medium.
They're both the same price at 11 pounds.
So I think they're from the same range,
but just the gray one fits far better.
So I saw that they had the fleecy lined gray leggings.
And I think I might go back and,
now that I know that this one fits,
I might take the black one back
because I don't love the fact that it's really long.
But also I might get the gray fleecy leggings
to match this as a nice matching base layer set.
But yeah, 11 pounds for both of those.
And if you're not going skiing,
also good dog walking, wintery layering items.
These are perfect.
This one's a quarter zip,
but also it's got that heat IQ thermal.
So it's again that fleecy liner.
These ones have thumb holes as well.
Speaking of thermals,
I also got this plain white beanie just for layering up.
Taking it out of the packet now,
but I also picked up a pair
of the Velvet Plush Flare leggings.
I got a large to extra large and they fit absolutely fine,
but I will say the waist is quite,
not snug, but just, I don't know.
I mean, they're not tight.
You just definitely have to size up.
I definitely needed a large to extra large for that reason.
I also got some gloves.
These are just basic thin black knit,
but they're also touchscreen gloves.
And it also comes as a pack of two for one pound 50.
So I thought even just to throw these in
for anyone to use on our little skiing trip.
I also got this headband.
This thicker one, I feel like will be fine for one pound 50.
I've been loving sleeping in this set,
but I've got different prints.
So I've got like a teddy bear one.
I've got like a breakfast club brunch type one.
And then I thought I'm gonna pick up these two
because I really like sleeping in them so much.
And I've had a recent clear out of all my pajamas.
So the short ones,
which are the ones that actually tend to sleep in,
every night,
then they're the ones that I can make room for.
These were in the sale,
these seam free wireless bras.
And so yeah, they've got no wiring or anything.
So it looks like an everyday comfortable type set.
They have white, gray and black.
I just went for the gray and the black ones.
And they were reduced in sales to two pounds.
This one is more of the triangle one.
It does have the padding in it,
but I always take the padding out.
Six pounds for these sets.
They do come with the bottoms as well.
And then look at these for a dupe for the Birkenstocks.
In fact, I'll show you my Birkenstocks.
We'll do a side by side comparison.
So this is the Birkenstock, the official,
which has, I'd say a bit more of shape and structure
around the side than the Primark ones.
For a slip on, I mean, they are very similar, aren't they?
And actually quite a nice color,
nice option to have both.
I just had to get them to show you them as an alternative.
Yeah, they call the color sand and these are 12 pounds.
And that is everything I picked up from Primark.
So I hope you enjoyed this haul
and me showing you everything that I did pick up.
Let me know which of these items
that I've tried on is your favorite.
If you're gonna be on the hunt for any of these yourself
