NEW IN AUTUMN H&M &OTHER STORIES TRY ON HAUL

Hello guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to a brand new video. Today I have got a haul for you but if you're expecting to see new in summer items then you might be a little bit disappointed because I'm well and truly looking forward now to the next season and a lot of the items I've picked up are very much summer to autumn transitional pieces so outfits and items that can work on the warmer days that feel a little bit more like summer and also pieces that can work when we start to feel a little bit of a chill in the air and we know that autumn is on the way so I had a little bit of a shop on H&M and under the stories and I'm really really happy with the bits I picked up so I'm going to jump straight in and show you a few of the most perfect summer to autumn transitional pieces from H&M and under the stories. Starting off with under the stories I couldn't resist this this beautiful grey cashmere is it cashmere or is it a cashmere blend oh it's an alpaca wool blend this boxy grey knit t-shirt I love my basics I love my capsule pieces I just love my staples in my wardrobe obviously as we start to enter the autumn winter seasons I still want my classics but they need to keep me warm sometimes a classic grey t-shirt is not going to do it but in this wool blend I just loved the shoulders how boxy the sleeves are I felt this is going to be such a good fit because I just love anything boxy so hoping this looks nice on I'm going to try everything on with you guys as always so that you get my genuine first impressions and I'll let you know how it fits and how it feels in the try on clip. I picked up my usual size a size small and it did say on the website it was oversized and I think I would agree it does look quite boxy so I feel like the sizing is going to be bang on with this but yeah let's try it on and see what it looks like. So this is the t-shirt on I've just obviously popped it on with some white jeans I'm trying to style up the items with things that aren't too autumnal and more sort of transitional from summer to autumn and I love grey and white together like this I think it's the perfect way to kind of bridge the two seasons together especially as obviously this is a knit I think this is just this is a very me outfit I love this the sleeve length on the t-shirt just makes it I love the fact that it comes down to your elbows it's boxy but without being frumpy if that makes sense I don't just feel like there's excess material everywhere not doing anything I feel like the way it hangs and sits is very flattering and this is just something that I know I compare with so so many things but yeah let me know what you think about this because I I feel like I want this in multiple colours now I feel like this in a really gorgeous camel um like a camel tan colour would look gorgeous I have a very good feeling about very very good start next up from under the stories I decided to treat myself to this gorgeous pair of dark cherry red kitten heels if you didn't see my recent video about the autumn winter trends that are well and truly on the way um then go watch that for a start go and watch it because this colour is set to be a huge trend for this year so I thought now would be a great time to pick up a few bits and pieces that I know will sell out and I've been loving a kitten heel I've been loving um a pointed toe flat as well I just love a pointed toe I love the shape and structure and silhouette that it gives to an outfit so I just thought these would be absolutely perfect they're in that real kind of classy patent almost feel aren't they look at that just beautiful sorry I have lost the nail but I just thought these would be so lovely maybe with a matching bag really great for a neutral outfit to have these just popping out the bottom adding a little bit of a colour I just thought they were so beautiful now I have tried these on they fit absolutely fine I got my normal usual size I will film some sort of like trying clips and show you what they look like on but in terms of the fit I know these fit me I am so excited to start wearing these with jeans with knitwear love these okay guys very very random view but I did just want to quickly show you these um cherry red kitten heels on I have just popped them on with some blue jeans and I really like these I felt like the cherry red and the blue just pop against each other so well I'll just bring them into the sun look at that can you see them shining they also feel very very comfortable I feel like I could genuinely have these on all day and I really don't think they would hurt my feet considering they've got straps along the top there as well they really don't feel too tight or uncomfortable so yeah these are a keep I would also say to stay true to size um you don't need to size up or down in these next up from under the stories and sticking with the dark cherry red theme I also picked up this cardigan which I just loved now cardigans are also going to be a big trend for this year so I thought what better let's tick off two check boxes and get a cherry red cardigan I think this will also work great to add a dark cherry red accent to an outfit which is what I've been really loving seeing all over Pinterest and my kind of inspiration boards that I've been saving I love the idea of tying this around my shoulders matching with the heels or burgundy trainers and creating that sandwich effect where you have a matching color on the top and the bottom but I just I love the vibe of this I will obviously try it on and show you exactly how I mean with the styling and I stayed true to size in this and got a size small I feel like I might become a little bit obsessed with this color for the autumn season because I love how this looks paired with the white and the denim and I actually have got some um cherry red shoes on as well I just feel like this is such a vibe I love I didn't think I would love this color as much as I do like on me but I really do I really love it I mean I feel like with a cardigan you can't really go too wrong with the fit but in terms of the sleeve length sleeve length is great I love where it ends as well I just yeah I really really like this I think this is a definite definite keep I also have some boots in this color so I think it'll look great with them as well also just to drape it around my shoulders and show you another look because I feel like this is how I'm going to be styling it up a lot anyway but this is a very very good start to the haul that's everything that I got from and other stores I didn't go too wild on there I think give it another couple of weeks and they keep continuing to bring their new in on their website all their new autumn goodies but I think I might film a come shop with me and go in store and have a good look maybe in a couple of weeks so let me know if you want me to film that video but anyway moving on to H&M so first up and any eagle-eyed viewers may have already seen this shirt in my fashion trends video I did pop it on to wear for that so I will be removing the tag because I am keeping this so this is one of the only items that I obviously have tried on before this video but this H&M khaki green shirt and it's kind of got the utility kind of vibe with the shoulder straps here and I like that they haven't just whacked on a big gold button and made it sort of like a military style kind of jacket and jacket kind of shirt I like that they've left it plain they've got the hint of it but left it quite plain I really like the buttons I love the collar of this as well I just thought this would be really great going into the autumn and also khaki green another really on-trend colour and my favourite colour ever to wear I adore this colour but yeah I thought wearing this with some maybe khaki trousers but also pairing with jeans with skirts it's just such a great versatile shirt and I also did get the trousers to match so I'm hoping I can also wear these together as a really lovely khaki green co-ord but the trousers are almost kind of like cargo style trousers I would say you can see they've got the pocket detail on them and they've also got the detail on the back so I'm hoping wearing the two together it will almost give maybe more of like a jumpsuit all-in-one kind of vibe which I really really like I am hoping the cargo trousers fit me okay not sure if they're going to come up a little bit short I sometimes find H&M in terms of the length of trousers can be hit and miss I have some really great pairs from them and then some that I've just had to send back because they're far too short so it depends how the trousers are going to go but the shirt is staying 100% oh and just for reference I got a size small in the shirt and a size size in the bottoms size UK8 in the bottoms okay so I've popped the shirt on with the trousers so starting with the shirt as I mentioned I know I already love this I really like the way this hangs I mean this is actually the first time I've tried this on with trousers but this goes with so many of like my jeans my bottoms I love the length of the sleeves I just feel like it hangs and sits really really lovely whether you want to tuck it in or have it out and loose it looks really nice both ways I feel but yeah the shirt is a definite keep for me the trousers fit really well they fit really nice around the waist I wasn't sure if I was going to like the cargo style on the trousers usually I don't like cargo style trousers but I feel like even with the shirt it's quite understated it's actually not too much it's not too bad at all if I was being super picky I'd say I'd want one inch longer on the leg um just because I am someone that I do like my trousers to kind of skim the floor however from a practical point of view realistically I'm going to be wearing this into the autumn then it's actually probably better that the trousers aren't brushing along the floor but they're actually not too short it's not like they're up by my ankles um I'd say these are going to be a keep because I do like how this looks together I love a khaki jumpsuit co-ord vibe so yes I think this is a keep are we excited guys when we start to see the knit jumpers coming into the halls because I am and I could not resist this one how gorgeous is this oversized cream knit I just thought this was so so beautiful for wearing around the house it's a cotton silk blend I got it my usual size of a size small and I just thought this was so great you can see um maybe it won't show up on camera it's not um a really thick heavy it is actually almost a little bit see-through almost like you'd want to wear a nice bra or a little vest top underneath which I like so it's not thick heavy turtleneck cable knit kind of vibe it's not wintry jumper this is definitely a good autumn jumper I envision wearing this with a pair of matching cream trousers just when I'm working from home or a classic you know just throwing it over a pair of leggings and your comfy slippers and just chilling around the house oh I'm so excited the fact I've got a jumper in my hands guys it feels illegal to be wearing a knitted jumper when the weather is currently really warm outside however regardless I knew I'd love this jumper and I love it even more now it's on I've just paired it with a matching um like satin maxi I thought this would make the most beautiful transitional outfit as we go from um summer to autumn and it's just perfect it's an outfit that you can just stick trainers with uh flat shoes and then as we move into autumn you could pair some lovely knee-high boots maybe a lovely camel long coat would look gorgeous with this I've just popped on um a little kind of like dark burgundy bag that I had just to give a bit of the autumnal vibes but this is just great I did actually have it on with jeans a minute ago and I thought actually I've already um I've already tried other stuff on with jeans so I thought I would pop the skirt with it just to show you another way of styling it but yeah this jumper is lovely I love the sleeves as well um as you can see a little bit looser on the arms and then really comes in on the wrists and your hands so I just feel that's super flattering you can really cover your hands up imagine when it gets a bit colder and you can wrap your hands around a hot chocolate it's just it's the perfect snuggly autumn jumper yeah this is a yes from me next up I also picked up a pair of shoes from H&M these gorgeous nude ballet flats I thought these would be so great for pairing with a lot of my more autumnal outfits I think these are a great dupe for the Chanel ballet flats if you're a fan of them and not a fan of the price tag or maybe you've got your eye on them and you think is that a pair of shoes I will actually wear it's always good going for a more more affordable high street dupe and actually seeing do I reach for those shoes a lot that's something I tend to do before I make a more expensive purchase or before I buy maybe a luxury item I will always find a dupe first and see do I actually reach for that a lot is it worth me going down the more expensive designer route and yeah I find that tactic works great for me and it has in fact stopped me from spending money and buying certain things however I'm not planning on getting the Chanel ballet flats and but I do like the vibe that they can give to certain looks and I feel like these will be quite versatile so I thought I would give them a go the nude flat with the black I shall try these on and you'll have to excuse the fact that I've left the string on these but I didn't want to cut it off until I knew for sure I was going to be keeping these but these fit like the absolute dream really comfortable as I mentioned I got my usual size and yeah I just love how these look I feel like I'm going to be able to wear these with a lot of outfits and as I said a lot more comfortable um well super comfortable they feel like a pair of slippers to be honest so yeah not much else to say about these guys but I keep next up from H&M is this beautiful cream knit dress I love a knitted dress in the autumn winter and I thought this would be a great transitional piece because it's sleeveless you've got the shorter length it's not short short it doesn't look like it's a mini short so I feel like you could still um feel quite covered up and okay wearing this with bare legs even if you're not a fan of maybe getting your legs out it's not too short at all really like the gold buttons going down on this I feel like this will pair so nicely with autumn winter jackets when we start to get into needing a coat in the jacket again so I'm picturing this with some beautiful knee-high boots a gorgeous camel jacket and I just think it's gorgeous would also make a really lovely piece um to wear into the office maybe into the autumn winter you could pair this with tights and some flats or some boots um so yeah I'm hoping this looks nice on um I picked this up in a UK size small this is the dress on oh my god I was not expecting to love this as much as I do but it is so so nice um the buttons by the way they're not actually buttons that you like pop open to actually hold it shut as you can see so sometimes I worry with these style of dresses I've seen some that have the buttons all the way down but they're actually physical buttons that you can do up so then when you sit down you know when they gape open and you're going to end up you know showing more than you want so you're not going to have that problem with this which I really really love again I feel this is another one of those pieces that for the high street it looks more expensive than it actually is and I've just paired it with some flat sort of like tan shoes to show you how I would probably style it now while the weather's a little bit warmer um but this is the perfect dress to be able to pop on some boots with in like a few weeks time when the weather gets a bit cooler um knee high boots long coat just perfect really like the length of this on me as well I am um five foot eight for reference but I have really really long legs so a lot of things can just look really short on me even if they're not the amount of times people will say oh is that a bit short and I'm like no no the thigh keeps going all the way up so my hip bone is actually here so you can see how much leg this is actually covering just for reference I have very long thighs but yeah I I'm loving this haul I thought this has been such a success so far this is staying next up I actually did something that I said I wasn't going to do anymore I said I wasn't going to buy high street bags unless I really really loved them and I feel like I've made a little bit of a mistake with this one guys I bought I loved the color of this this dark brown shoulder bag I love the snaffle bit detail here got that little bit of an equestrian vibe going on it's got the chain handle and I just thought you know what this was a very affordable lovely bag however I am having regrets I am going to be sending this bag this bag back number one it's too small for me this is a bag I will probably never take outside the house with me yes I could film fashion and styling videos around this bag realistically I'm barely fitting my phone in this let alone my phone my camera my keys it's just not happening for me and also I think the strap is far too short if I pop this over my shoulder now it just about looks okay however if you imagine going into the autumn time and you've got a big jacket on or an oversized jumper you're going to very quickly run out of room and you're going to have a bag stuck up in your armpit it's going to be uncomfortable it's not going to look right so as much as in theory I love the style and the look of the bag it's just missing the mark for me okay next up from H&M is this cream jacket which I just thought would be so so lovely if I bring you in a bit closer let me show you the details as you can see we've got the gold buttons here but they're a little bit different for H&M I haven't seen what it says on them but as you can see it's got a little bit of detail on there and the actual material itself you can see is like that and I love the structure of this I like the pockets at the front I felt this is a great jacket just to pop on over your shoulders when you need something that's not too heavy still lightweight perfect going between summer and autumn in my opinion and it's also not too long and it's not cropped but it's definitely not too long so if you were to wear your high-waisted trousers high-waisted skirts it would look really lovely I got my usual size a size small now I'm going to show you something else because I ordered this on the website it made it look like these two things were almost a co-ord and that they would match now I don't know if H&M have made a mistake and sent me the wrong one or if that was just a bit of poor marketing on their part because on the website it really looks like these two items are a co-ord together so I actually ordered this skirt um which as you can see it's not very me when we look at this but I am actually going to pop a picture on screen of what I assumed I had ordered now as I said I don't know if I've made a mistake here but this is a very very very short skirt it's got the pleated detail the buttons and as you can see different shades of white well this is white this is cream um but yes I'm not really sure what happened there I don't know but anyway guys I'm not even going to try this on I'm just letting you know because I'm not going to like it I'm going to hate it I'm not keeping it I didn't mean to order this also I think it'd be far too big it looks quite wide is that a size eight it's medium I wouldn't have ever ordered a medium I think maybe they've made a mistake here I don't know I don't know what happened there okay this jacket I absolutely love I feel like this jacket it's giving more of an expensive vibe I just think this is so so great I love the buttons on it don't make the mistake I did these are button buttons they're not like poppers I went to open the jacket when it was on the hanger and went to go like this and just pull all of the poppers apart and then I realized oh no no these are actually buttons so don't make that mistake nearly rip all of the buttons off but I am super pleased with this I mean considering my entire outfit apart from the bag is high street we've got new look jeans we've got H&M shoes H&M jacket I feel like this outfit looks a lot more expensive than what it actually cost altogether so yeah jacket is definitely staying such a shame about the skirt I have actually checked now and realized they actually sent me the wrong skirt so that one is going back um I will have popped a picture on screen though of the actual skirt so let me know do you think I should order that skirt again and go for the whole co-ord vibe or do you think the jacket I mean I've honestly ordered both but the jacket was what sold me so do I just go do I just stick with the jacket or do you think I should order this matching skirt too let me know guys but yeah this is definite definite keep and then finally I have a couple of accessories to show you now as we go into the autumn I start to wear my headbands again because I don't know about you some days in the autumn winter when it's raining it's windy your hair's going everywhere it's sticking to your makeup your lip gloss but you still want your hair down headbands are the way forward and I love these kind of more stretchy material headbands I wore them a lot last year so I thought I'd pick a couple up from H&M because as you'll see the autumn colors we have one in this dark cherry red which I thought would be so great for pairing with a couple of cherry red accessories going into the autumn love that um and it did actually come as a pair with this chocolate brown headband too which I will just I know I'll get so much wear out of because I actually already had a chocolate brown headband last year and I wore it all the time so yeah I thought I'd add these to my wardrobe and just do some really fun headband hairstyles again as we move into the autumn so yeah and that's it guys that is everything I bought from H&M and and
