I've just finished a four-day horseback journey across the 3 800-meter-high plateau snacking on peanut cakes in a small town nestled between two regions and visiting a monastery nearly a thousand years old Welcome back to part two of our extraordinary journey through Southern Ganzhou and Western Sichuan If you miss days one through four we've only just begun Today the atmosphere feels fresh distant and breathtaking We're talking about the cities of the old world The hidden sky concealed and a day in the life of an Amdo nomad Let's go in Hello everyone welcome back to the channel I'm sharing my 12-day itinerary through China's extraordinary regions Today is about the fifth to eighth days shifting from the renowned area of Labrang down into the obscure floors of Tibetan Beach It is high distant and must not be remembered We began on the fifth day leaving Siahi o explore the hidden gems nestled within the grasslands of Ganjia First stop Bandar Bajau This is not just a city It is a large temple built over 2 000 years ago during the Han dynasty It has eight distinct corners and astonishingly people are still living inside this place Then we headed toward Ganjia Grassland which is far less touristy than Sanki and came upon a small monastery built beneath large white stones its significance centered on the Nekang Temple It is essentially a grassy area inside a mountain Not for those afraid of confined spaces but extraordinary if you possess bloodlight Day 6 brought us to Hazio o visit the famous Milarepa Tower It is a nine-star building adorned by the 11th-century yogi Inside are stones covering every aspect of Tibetan Buddhism You can climb up to enjoy a view of the city In the late afternoon we headed toward Secha Land If you love dramatic flooring this is it It's a spacious area featuring cosmic stones and tabula formed over thousands of years of exposure to light There is a story that illustrates how these stones came to be cut by King Gesar himself We spent the day admiring the stunning Deohai Floor A true gem in the land Day 7 is knowledge for many people We sent buses and used horses We walked for more than six hours along the White Dragon River through the Siu Reh River This is the real journey We had a picnic in the middle of nowhere and visiting the local Amdo nomadic family We sent celestial stones powdered stones and dry celestial stones It was a difficult task but they were incredibly supportive In the end I felt a bit sad but it was truly worth it Before we move on let's talk about Langmusi It lies right at the border between Gansu and Sichuan It's a small town with a big atmosphere We visited the Langmu River unique for having no enclosing walls It flows through the city We also respect the Gerdi River along its entire length To alter the movement We hid out at Lisa's famous café to eat some nuts It is a popular pastime in the area On day eight we said goodbye to Gansu and moved on to Sichuan Our first stop was Lake Hua Hu a vast expanse renowned for its black grass Seaweed and flowers growing underwater Then we walked through a vast expanse of grassland a forest utterly untouched That day ended with a visit to the first group of the Yellow River It was astonishing to see this great river transform We took the opportunity to visit the Warki Pagodas to pay our respects before proceeding to the final destination from Chuan Chu Si City If you're seeking a journey that challenges you we introduce you to a culture with a history spanning centuries and shows you a local spot that looks otherworldly this is it We've already covered the parts too far from this journey but we still have a few days left In the next video we'll explore some extraordinary natural sites in Chuan Chu Si City and begin our journey back You don't want to miss out If you enjoy the breathtaking views of this world beyond the ordinary in Western China Please hit that LIKE button It truly helps this channel And if you have any questions about logistics Height or whatever else needs to be collected please write it in the comments below Make sure you've subscribed so you don't miss the final part of today's 12-day journey Thank you for watching And I'll see you in the next video Goodbye
