Japanese Pocket Knife Restoration. In this video, I decided to restore an old Japanese pocket knife. At first, I wasn’t sure what kind of knife it was, but after removing the remains of the old leather covering, the knife was fully revealed.
The blade turned out to be in good condition and was not broken. I carefully removed the rust, polished and sharpened the blade, and then cleaned and polished the handle as well.
I believe this knife is a Higonokami-style knife, likely made between the 1930s and 1950s, possibly for export to the United States or the United Kingdom.
