Do you want to travel to one of the most beautiful wine regions in all of Europe? Then look no further than the Douro Valley, located on the Douro River in beautiful Portugal. This valley is widely known for its great range of wine production, including a Portuguese staple, port wine! On this trip, we took a day-long private (ish) tour of the Douro Valley Wine region, and we got to taste tons of different wines, ports, regional cheeses, and even honey. We had a great day, which included the wine tastings, a boat trip, and amazing traditional Portuguese lunch, and great views the entire time.
