Winter days in my Paris life | Grand Palais ice skating, Sunday shopping in Le Marais & more!

Hello everyone, welcome back to the Paris Vlogs. I'm starting this vlog by showing you a restaurant I went to with a couple of girlfriends and we tried their menu. It was amazing, we were sharing a couple of different plates. Very interesting what they have on there and I thought the quality was really good too, so I can highly recommend it. It's a very beautiful and also aesthetically pleasing restaurant in Paris. Very gloomy day, it's the 1st of January. I'm here with Jule and we spent New Year's Eve together yesterday and it was really nice, but we ended up just staying up until maybe 2 or 3 a.m. and that was perfect because then this morning we were able to just sleep and be a little bit at home and we took it very slow and now it's already 4 p.m. We're just taking a walk and we're going to grab a coffee now and I thought I'd vlog again with the camera. Café Nuance close to Place Vendôme is always a good idea. I love this spot so we had this to go. It was really cold, mind you this was January, so here are a couple of clips of the beautiful Christmas decorations that we have here in Paris each year and then we went for dinner and this is one of my favorite spots or more like aperitivo I would say. This was actually my very first time here at the Grand Palais ice skating rink and I think it's one of the biggest ones in Europe or even in the world so it was a very magical experience but you have to wait in the queue for a very long time and then we headed to the 6th arrondissement and had another amazing cheese platter and red wine, very Parisian and I love this spot in the city. Hey guys, I'm on my way to get my nails done. I have my croissant cap on. Still trying to figure out how I am using this camera and I just got us two pains au chocolat for me and Olicia who is my nail artist. I'm almost there and it's in the 17th I think or 16th, no 16th. 16th arrondissement and it's super cold today it's like I think one degree or two degrees so I'm all wrapped up. I have this new cashmere scarf that I love and it's an all black look. So this is the before of my nails. As you can tell they've grown out a little bit and I'm not sure what I should get this time, the same or almond shaped or maybe a different color. I usually go for neutral. Happy New Year! Oh it's true, it's the first time we see each other. Yes, in this year. So many people. I wanted to go too first with a friend but then we were scared that there would be too many people. I actually like it like this but I thought maybe to do this. Ah yes, it's like trending right now. Like the cat, what is it called? Cat eyes. Yeah cat eyes, looks so cool. I don't know but I think it's better with almond shaped nails. Actually for example we can do the same and I will put for you the cat eyes. And then see if it... Yes. So I decided to do a cat eye which is a new nail trend. And of course Olesya has the new colors for that. It's so cool. So happy. I love that it has this special effect. So unique and I love to change it up a little bit from time to time. And because I usually have my natural nails. Hello guys. I am on my way to the supermarket and I'm wearing this new coat that I absolutely love. It's so chic. It's the perfect taupe color. I don't know if you can tell the lighting. I still haven't figured out the lighting of this camera. I think I need to research a bit more. But also my hair just looks very orangey in this camera. I don't know why. So it's a bit windy but it's fine. It's not that cold. And I'm actually very happy that today it's a bit more enjoyable to go outside and spend some time outside. Because I'm someone, I cannot handle cold weather. I also cannot handle rain. I'm very, very, very weather dependent. Let me know if you're like that as well. But for me it's extreme. Sometimes people don't understand. And I'm like, I cannot go outside. I prefer to stay inside and indoors. And just be a homegirl and spend the whole day inside. I know it's not good. So I try to have at least one little walk each day to... Oh my god, this cute dog. I had to film. So cute. What was I saying? Got distracted by this cutie. But yeah, I try to go outside every day for at least 10 minutes minimum. I know it will get better in spring and in summer. And of course I love Paris and I love spending time outside. But just when it's too cold, I cannot handle it. I think I need new carrots. I still have broccoli at home. And I saw that they also have kale. Which I rarely see. One or two carrots because I usually like to do some stir fries with it. Yeah, I think two will be fine. But with the kale I'm not sure what I should do with that. Some peas. And bananas. Always, always, always buying bananas. And they're actually already pretty yellow. So that's perfect. Because then I can freeze them. I always, always, always freeze my bananas. It makes the biggest difference in your smoothies. So you have to get your bananas in store and then freeze them. It's the best hack. It sounds so strange but I follow Pia Manz. And she has this for breakfast every single morning. Avocado with chicken sausage. And I tried these right here. And honestly they were so good. And these are the only ones that they have in my supermarket. And they were sold out. So I'm getting two of those. It's raining. I'm on my way to go to a show. It's currently men's fashion week so I don't really have to do a lot with that. But sometimes brands still plan things at the same time. So that's why I'm headed out to check out a jewelry brand that I haven't heard of before. But they're from Seoul. So I'm excited to see what they have there. And I'm excited to meet the agency that invited me. So I'll take you with me. I just tried on this necklace. I think in winter the silver one is really nice. And then in summer... I really like both. But I think I'm more of a silver type of girl when it comes to this specific necklace. But I think it's super cool. These earrings right now. And here are the earrings. I love them so much. So basic and perfect for every day. And these are actually gold. But... Yeah, what do you think? I'm sitting on my favorite couch. It's beautiful and there's not too many people. And I'm drinking my cappuccino. No, my latte. My old latte from Motors Coffee. And it's really delicious. I just wish they had some sort of stamp on it at least. Because now it's just like a white cup. And I'm a marketing girly. So I need to have my brand. And the branding on a beautiful cup. It's super cozy here. And in summer it's the place to be. Because a lot of people go here to day drink. And then they also have parts of the cafes and restaurants. That actually put their tables here on the sand. And there's usually lots of dogs. It's so cute. Yeah, it's my favorite little area here. In the center of Paris. I had to go to the post office. Because I did a giveaway at the end of 2024. And I chose a winner. And I just sent her her gift. Which is a Babyliss Air Wand. I love this tool. I haven't shown it I think on YouTube yet. Because I still have so much content to come. And I really want to do more hair tutorials. Or in general more sit down, chit chat. Like get ready with me's hair and makeup. Because I know a lot of you request this. It's very gloomy. But maybe you can see a bit better where I am. As you can tell here. They're playing boule. And it's just so calming. Not too many people. And I just love it here. Hello guys. Happy Sunday. I am outside. As you can tell in the streets of Paris. I just walked. And it's such nice weather. It's like around 9 degrees. So it's not too cold. It's not raining right now. And I'm having a great time. Getting some fresh air on the weekend. And I'm going to meet a friend right now. And we'll have a matcha. We're either going to Grave or to Aura. I think they're both on the same street. So I'm very excited to see. I think both of them are really great. And it's probably going to be very very full. My friend just told me that. Apparently on Instagram they posted that they had free coffee. Until 1pm. And right now it's like 12.40 or something. So let's see if we can still get a free coffee. But I'm almost there. Walking and yeah. I will bring you guys along. As I know that you really like me to show you some places in Paris. And some nice cafes and restaurants. And I'm also really excited to try new places. So that's perfect. And I will vlog today. And show you a bit around in the Marais. And yeah. It has been a while that I was in this specific street. But it's one of my favorites. Because they have so many good restaurants here. And good cafes and also bars. So I can highly recommend it. And I will of course leave all of the info down below as per usual. This was actually a very very small spot in the city. But it was cute just to grab a small matcha or coffee. And this was my look of the day. I will have it all linked below. I have this new scarf that I told you about. And my new coat as well. And then we went a little bit shopping in the Marais. So had some stops there. And then we went for lunch. We went to Gramme. Which I can highly recommend. I think I've shown it in a previous vlog. And then I had to go to this vintage store. I love this one. And last stop in this vlog. We went to the Frankie shop. And we tried on this chocolate blazer. It's very oversized. It was the smallest size already. But it looked so cool. I didn't expect this. But I love the shoulder padding.
