Dylan's off-season has been pretty good as far as with the Ducati because
he's the type of rider that likes a more rigid bike and he tends to say from practice bike to
race bike it always feels the same and he's never had that before so I think that's a big thing that
helps him. And he's just never had that comfort in the 450 on the 450 in supercross. Yeah. So
I think if we can get these you know a couple laps where we're like he's he's really going he's
going top level guy speed. Yeah. We just need to figure out how to stretch that for 20 minutes
plus a lap and I think he'll be in the fight. So we're in San Diego round two the supercross
championship. A couple minutes before going to cross practice. Did a warm-up. Feels pretty good.
Good week with the team. We rode twice. Make it basically we just made it softer
because the main event track are pretty beat up and more challenging than what we
practice on. So try to make the bike a little softer a little more comfortable.
And yeah we see pretty good. Yeah. Track was pretty rough soft ready. I thought Dylan looked okay.
He mentioned a little bit about the forks which I'm sure he's going to talk to the
boys about and see what changes we make going into qualifying two. On the gas it was fine.
I guess we go back up in high speed and we go down on the low speed. Which that's your
that's your end of day policy. That's what you started. We changed some stuff during the week.
We I would say we improved everywhere on the track but we lost a little bit in the
whoops. So I think that was where I was the less less fast in the track. So
beside that felt pretty good. We are trying some different stuff and yeah I mean overall
feels pretty good. The bike is super super good. Super racy and yeah you see I feel pretty good.
I can improve my speed in the whoops or not the speed but just make it more
like comfortable like less less sketchy would be would be nice but
yeah we so far we're doing a good job with the team and yeah let's try to keep that going.
When you put the rip the high speed in yeah.
But I'm more comparing to Pala. The whoops were pretty similar to today and I think Pala,
shock same condition was better than today. So let's go back to Pala shock
and you guys do whatever you want with kickoff. Okay.
You see in the long rhythm I messed up three laps in a row because my timing was a bit different.
Like I was over jumping and it took me a few laps to relearn the tailing.
Yeah well you know how to do that. I won't let you tell you anything else.
Hey you're all good. You started coming into it. Honestly I feel it's the best effort so far
and yeah I was where I should stay and then I got fast. There was a sneaky line in the whoops that
Justin Cooper was doing in front of me. I tried to follow him and do the same and yeah I made a
big mistake in crashing whoops. So yeah lost some position and ended up in nines but I feel good.
That's the most important. I feel really good and I feel I can I can raise the the front pace
all moto and every weekend. So yeah let's keep keep working. This week we're gonna try to
if we can improve the start a little bit. They are not bad but they can be better and
really good day. Yeah I think I'm a little bit disappointed for the team. I should have ended
up b6 b7 but yeah it is what it is. It's a long season.
We made improvement. That's what matters and yeah we'll go again next weekend.
