Hong Kong film actor Leung Shiu-Lung passed away on January 14 at the age of 77.
His funeral is scheduled to be held on January 26 in Longgang, Shenzhen.
Regarding his death, many media outlets have reported that the cause was unknown.
Some outlets such as Observer Network, Guangcha, in mainland China,
and Hong Kong Zero One have suggested it was a sudden death caused by heart disease.
However, in the period leading up to his passing,
Leung Shiu-Lung had been actively speaking out on behalf of missing persons in China,
including publicly defending the Xiaoluxi incident.
Moreover, just 10 hours before his death, he had posted a new video,
and on the evening of January 13, he was still in Leizhou,
inviting several friends out for hot pot at a mutton restaurant.
The atmosphere was cheerful and harmonious, with no visible signs of declining health.
He even gave his friend a piece of calligraphy reading
True Kung Fu personally signed by hand.
At the time, he was wearing a black jacket, smiling and giving a thumbs up to the camera,
an image that stands in stark contrast to the news of his sudden passing the very next day.
As a result, many people have begun to question
whether his sudden death was really so straightforward.
Numerous friends and netizens, unwilling to accept the situation,
started digging deeper into the cause of his death.
What did they discover?
Let's unravel it together in today's program.
An Unusual Comment
An ex-account named Momo shared that on January 13, 2026,
Leung Shiu-Lung publicly called on Duyan for harsh punishment of human traffickers,
especially those who abused.
He argued that the most severe penalties should be applied,
and also voiced opposition to the buying, selling, and transplantation of human organs.
The very next day, January 14, Leung passed away.
In the comment section beneath a video posted on January 13,
a netizen using the name Yompuwanidahai, the sea that never forgets you,
left a message saying,
You're in danger.
The IP address was shown as being from Hebei province.
This detail caught the attention of overseas media,
prompting a wave of reports.
Just above that comment, another user expressed admiration for Leung Shiu-Lung,
saying that very few stars or artists have the courage to stand up like that,
and even gave him a thumbs up.
Indeed, in these turbulent times under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party,
there are not many people who dare to speak out,
while many more choose self-preservation.
So the question arises,
did Leung Shiu-Lung truly encounter misfortune because of this?
According to journalist Li Dayu,
the comment, you're in danger,
could be interpreted as coming from a well-meaning netizen who was worried about him.
The implication being that, in such a dark environment,
openly speaking out like that is genuinely dangerous.
But that is only one perspective.
Another possibility is that it was actually a threat from someone.
After all, behind many cases of missing persons in China,
there is alleged to be covert protection from the authorities,
and the CCP's state security apparatus has numerous ways
to make outspoken individuals inside the country disappear without leaving a trace.
Li Dayu believes that, on the surface,
it may look like a very ordinary death,
but in reality, sophisticated poisons could have been used.
Even an extremely small dose, hidden, for example, under a fingernail,
could be enough to cause death,
while outwardly mimicking the symptoms of a common illness.
Therefore, this is not simply a case of people being overly suspicious or meddlesome.
In an environment as sinister as that under the CCP, vigilance is unavoidable.

Long Xiu-Lung Demands Justice for Children
Long Xiu-Lung, real name Long Chui-Sang, was born in Hong Kong in 1948.
From a young age, he had a strong sense of chivalry and justice,
always stepping in whenever he saw wrongdoing.
He was raised single-handedly by his grandmother,
and in order to protect her from being bullied,
he developed a deep passion for martial arts.
Even when walking down the street,
if he saw someone practicing Kung Fu,
he would stop to watch and imitate the moves for 10 minutes or more.
Once he had learned a few techniques, he immediately put them into use,
not only to protect his grandmother,
but also to stand up for the weak whenever he encountered injustice.
Long, before he became famous,
he had already become a true street-level knight-errant among society's underclass.
After entering the film industry,
Long started out as a stunt double
and later rose to fame through his role as Chen Zhen
in the television series The Legendary Fok Yuen Cap.
His entry into cinema actually stemmed from his real-life acts of chivalry.
In 1972, when he was just 24,
he was discovered by director Nong Si-Yuen by chance.
Nong then devoted himself to grooming Long,
ultimately shaping him into a martial arts star for an entire generation.
Alongside Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Tee Lung,
he was known as one of the Four Dragons of Hong Kong's entertainment industry,
starring in numerous high-profile Kung Fu films.
Even Sammo Hung and director Wong Jing publicly praised him,
noting that while many fight scenes in movies are stylized for the camera,
Lung Shu Lung was genuinely formidable in real life,
capable of fighting multiple opponents at once.
Wong Jing even personally confirmed that he had witnessed Lung
single-handedly defeating several knife-wielding attackers who had surrounded him.
In his later years,
Lung's instinct to step in whenever he saw injustice never changed.
On November 14, 2025,
a premature infant named Xiao Luoxi,
only five months old,
died after undergoing a so-called minimally invasive heart surgery
at the Women's and Children's Hospital affiliated with Ningbo University.
The autopsy report indicated that the doctors involved
were suspected of falsifying medical records,
that the surgery had been unnecessary,
and that Xiao Luoxi was also suspected of having been used for organ transfer.
Public outrage followed,
but the entertainment industry remained almost completely silent.
Although Lung Shu Lung was no longer an A-list star
and had gradually faded from the public spotlight,
the chivalrous spirit he had carried since youth remained intact.
He posted more than 20 short videos speaking out for Xiao Luoxi,
urging the public to pay attention to the truth behind the case.
His voice quickly generated significant social impact,
drawing far greater attention to the incident.
In recent times,
cases of people going missing in China have been increasing,
and Lung treated these tragedies as his own,
actively sharing information online.
He was especially concerned about children.
In a video posted just one day before his death,
he said,
I hope more people will pay attention to abducted children.
Human traffickers must be punished severely.
As for those who cripple children,
I suggest the death penalty.
It's simply too cruel.
No one expected that not long after these words were spoken,
Lung Shu Lung would leave this world forever.
Even more unsettling was the appearance of the comment
you're in danger in the comment section,
making it difficult not to draw connections
when considering the cause of his death.
Lung Shu Lung's manager reveals
why was his death concealed for four days.
Regarding the passing of Lung Shu Lung,
another strange internal detail has recently come to light.
On the morning of January 19th,
his manager expressed strong anger,
saying that there were people around Lung
who were ungrateful and disloyal,
shamelessly leaking matters
that had previously been discussed in private.
So what exactly happened?
According to the manager,
when Lung Shu Lung fell ill,
there was initially only one family member by his side.
10 minutes later,
two more people arrived,
and within an hour,
all of his relatives were present.
Everyone had hoped that
with prayers and emotional encouragement,
he might pull through.
Unexpectedly,
after holding on for seven hours,
he still passed away.
Lung Shu Lung himself
had always viewed life and death with equanimity.
He once said that life and death are matters of fate.
If one day he were no longer around,
he hoped people would think of it
as him having gone far away to shoot a film.
The manager said that before his passing,
Lung Shu Lung instructed those around him
to continue updating his Douyin,
Chinese TikTok account,
and not to immediately inform fans of the bad news,
suggesting that the announcement could wait
until after funeral arrangements were completed.
However,
the manager said this plan ultimately failed
because someone within the inner circle
leaked the information.
It is unclear who the loose-lipped person was,
but they spread the entire situation
across various chat groups,
causing news of his death to circulate rapidly.
The manager was furious,
as everyone had agreed not to speak out yet,
only for someone to break that agreement,
and he vented his frustration to the media.
This information comes from sources in mainland China.
However,
also in mainland China,
a public account analyzed the situation
from a different angle.
They argued that at the age of 77,
it is rare for someone to be proficient
in managing online platforms.
In other words,
the continued activity on Lung Shu Lung's account
without announcing his death
may have been driven by the company behind it,
possibly to capitalize on his fame to generate attention,
or perhaps to conceal something else.
Regardless of whether Lung Shu Lung
personally requested that his Douyin account
continue to be updated before his death,
as his family members and disciples,
they should have stopped posting after his passing
out of respect for the deceased.
The fact is that he died on January 14th,
but the news was not revealed until January 18th.
During that period,
the account continued to post content,
leading the public to mistakenly believe
that he was still alive.
Do you think this could really have been
Lung Shu Lung's own request?
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
The manager also revealed that
after Lung Shu Lung's death,
conspiracy theories began circulating,
claiming that he died
because he had previously spoken out
for a certain child.
The manager dismissed this as impossible
and fabricated,
saying that this is a society governed
by the rule of law,
and that such baseless conspiracy theories
could not exist.
However, the explanation of rule of law
is hardly convincing.
Everyone understands that the Chinese Communist Party
governs in an authoritarian manner.
Such remarks sound more like an attempt
to defend or excuse the authorities.
Not long before his death,
Lung Shu Lung posted a photo of Xiao Luoxi
lying in a hospital bed,
accompanied by the caption,
this time,
I won't just stand by and watch,
calling on everyone to speak out
against injustice and wrongdoing.
The comment section was flooded
with messages of support,
and the post received more than 500,000 likes.
At the same time,
the CCP is currently in a highly turbulent period,
treating any activity online or offline
as a potential challenge.
Out of fear,
they frequently delete posts,
suspend accounts,
and enforce stability
through heavy-handed measures.
The level of public attention
that Lung Shu Lung helped generate inadvertently
touched on their most sensitive nerve.
His disappearance,
whether accidental or deliberate,
aligns perfectly with the CCP's need
to maintain stability,
doesn't it?
Therefore,
this is not a case of netizens overreacting.
Rather,
this hypothesis fits the broader context of the times,
aligns with the CCP's long-standing pattern
of dealing with people who step in
when they see injustice,
and matches the ruthless methods of the Communist Party
that more and more people have come to recognize.
It is hoped
that Lung Shu Lung did not die in vain.
Regardless of whether this was an accident or not,
his recent courage in speaking out
and taking action
is already enough
to inspire many more people
to stand up for justice
and speak out against injustice.
