Hey there and welcome to my home. It is officially the season of love and honestly Valentine's Day
is one of my favorite holidays to decorate for because I just cannot get enough of those
romantic florals and of course all the pretty pinks and reds. So I am really happy that you
are here with me today because we will be decorating the living room together and setting
up a fun Valentine's Day coffee bar. So I hope that you enjoy this video and find a little bit
of inspiration for your own space. Now let's get to decorating.
I actually made these paper cutouts that I'm showing you right now a couple of years ago
in a previous Valentine's Day video so I will link that video below just in case you want to
check that out. But I just love bringing these out each year because it's kind of my little decor
nod to the tradition of exchanging paper cards and love notes with the people that we care about
most during the season.
Of course my decorating supervisors are here with me today to make sure that all the Valentine's
decor is puppy approved. Do you think they approve this season? Let me know in the comments below.
I think they really like it.
I love keeping fresh flowers around the house but I do have to admit good faux florals have
a special little place in my heart because they are so easy to work with. They're just so pliable
which means you can create a beautiful arrangement that really fits your space and your style.
I find it easier to work with faux florals plus the best part they will last not only all season
but essentially forever which means decorating your home just becomes so much easier. You could
even make these arrangements and store them away if you'd like to. I always take my flowers apart
just because I use them for different seasons and holidays but you really could make one beautiful
arrangement for the season and store it away and then pull it out each year which I think is really
really nice.
We are meeting for coffee on Galentine's Day. If you don't know, Galentine's Day is actually
February 13th so the day before Valentine's Day and I thought I would just make her a little
something. I'm actually making two gifts. I'm gonna make one for her and then she has a preteen
daughter so I'm gonna make a little something for her as well just so her mom can take it home to
her and she could have a nice little Valentine's surprise from me. But just in case you were looking
for gift ideas for your friends, your Galentine's, I thought I would share the two little gifts that
I'm putting together today. So it's just a little something but I'm gonna show you everything I
grabbed for both gifts. I'm using this gold basket for my friend's gift. I found these baskets at the
Target dollar spot several years ago so I'm not sure if they have them now but I will try to link
something similar in the description. This is what I'm putting my friend's gift in and then for
my friend's daughter I found this great little box on Amazon which I thought was really cute.
It has a ribbon that comes with it and it was really inexpensive so I will link this gift box
as well. Isn't that cute? For my friend's gift I got her a coffee mug in the shape of a heart.
I actually got two. I have one as well so we're matching. Probably my most favorite thing that
I'm putting in both gifts are Bombas socks. If you aren't a stranger here then you know Bombas is
actually one of my absolute favorite brands to share with you, to wear myself, and their fuzzy
socks, which I've talked about before but I haven't shown them here, are my absolute favorite,
favorite socks of all time. These are a must-have during the winter. I love these things. They are
so cozy. They actually have arch support built into all their socks but even their fuzzy socks
and I just I love these things. I just wanted to say a quick thank you to Bombas because they are
kind enough to sponsor this video. They are so sweet and supportive of my channel and I just
appreciate them because I genuinely love their brand. If you aren't familiar, one reason I love
them so much aside from the fact that they have incredible quality is that they are a company
that gives back. When you buy a product from Bombas they actually donate a product to someone in need.
They have now donated over 150 million products to those in need at homeless shelters across the
United States which I think is incredible. Socks, t-shirts, and underwear are three of the most
highly requested items at homeless shelters and those are the things that Bombas sells and that
they donate and not only that they donate their products which are extremely high quality and I
think it's so important for those in need to get high quality products. I just appreciate that they
are a company that when you shop with them you can feel good and you can know that you're doing
good because you are essentially helping someone in need. Bombas are the only brand of socks that
I personally wear and the only brand that I love to gift. I wish I could give every single one of
you a pair of these fuzzy socks. So if you're interested in shopping Bombas, especially for
Valentine's Day, it's the perfect time to gift a pair of their socks. Again, I suggest the fuzzy
ones. I will leave the link in the description box below. I'll also put a QR code here on the screen
for you for easy shopping. New customers actually get 20% off their first order with my code so just
use my link or the QR and the code is BRITTANY20 and that'll give you 20% off your first purchase.
I hope you try them out and if you do, come back to this video and tell me what you think. Are you a
Bombas customer? Have you tried their socks? Do you love them as much as I do? Let's finish putting
this gift box together. I got some eye patches. I got some for her and for her daughter so one will
go in each gift. I thought that was really fun. I thought these little cherries were so cute and I
couldn't pass them up so I'm putting that in my friend's gift as well. Put a little lip balm.
It is Valentine's Day so you also cannot forget the candy, right? So I'm adding a bit of candy
to their gifts. So for my friend's daughter, she really likes to journal so I am adding a journal.
This one is just from Amazon. It's got this nice pink vegan leather cover which I love. I actually
use these personally and love them and then a cute fun pin for her. I think she'll like this
and then I'm also giving her a pair of Bombas socks that I think are just really really sweet.
They're lightweight and they have little ruffles so I thought she would think these are cute. I
kind of want to get these some of these for me too. I'm also giving her some cute scrunchies
that I found at Target. I love these. I think they're so sweet. These little hearts that I
found on Target. I think these are fun to just stick in a gift especially for a preteen. They're
little felt stuffed hearts. You could use these for decor as well and then I'm finishing the
gifts out with just a couple of Valentine's cards. I like to look at home goods for my cards whether
it be for Valentine's, for Easter, for the holidays. I really like to try and find, of course, birthday
cards, cards at home goods. One, because they're usually a bit of a better price for a high quality
card and they have some of the cutest ones. I hope they love these. I will try to link everything that
I'm adding to these gifts in the description box below in case you want to make one of these for
your Galentine this year. I love adding pink tulips to my Valentine's decor just as a little
prelude to spring since it's right around the corner. It will be here before we know it. Tulips
are one of my absolute favorite flowers. I just think they bring such a fresh, cheerful vibe to
any space. I just think they're so beautiful. I've loved them since I was a little girl so
I try to add tulips around any chance that I can.
Now we are moving on to the coffee bar. As you know, I love setting up a seasonal coffee station
not just for myself to enjoy throughout the season but also for guests when they come to visit. I am
just keeping it simple this time, just adding the essentials I need to make a great cup of
coffee in the morning. I actually found these little mailboxes at the Target dollar spot a few
years ago and I love using them here. I'm using one as a decorative piece and the other to house
my coffee pods.
We got a good thing going, don't cast it off, just let this love keep showing, yeah.
Of course, Valentine's Day wouldn't be complete without a little something sweet so I'm filling
these apothecary jars with candy and treats so there's always a fun snack for guests to enjoy
when they visit this season.
Give me, give me, give me all of your love, baby baby baby you gotta hold on to what we got and
give me, give me, give me all your love.
Thank you so much for spending a little bit of your time here with me today on YouTube. I hope
you enjoyed decorating with me and I hope that you have a very happy Valentine's Day. I will
see you again soon in the next one. Until I do, take care and happy decorating!
