I Sold Out Again... Here’s What My Flowers Actually Earned This Season
At my first farmers market of the season I worked for 63p an hour. At the last one in October I sold out again and took more money than any other market this year.
After August and September, you told me what to do for the final market. I kept bouquets at £15, added smaller single variety bunches at £7 and made 42 bouquets instead of 35. In this video I'm picking from the October field, making all the bouquets, selling at the market and sharing the full numbers: turnover, costs, profit and my hourly rate. Plus the three things that made the biggest difference this season, and whether I think farmers markets are actually worth it.
Thank you for helping me steer this experiment. Let me know in the comments what you think.
