Singing donkey goes viral

Every morning, Travis Kinley walks to his pasture to feed his two horses and his donkey, Nathan. Usually it's quiet, but last Thursday, he made an exception after an online joke spilled over onto his farm. Someone else says, yeah, the circle of life, that'll be your pre-sermon hymnal, you know? And I'm like, all right, well, y'all keep playing around. You don't know me like that. Like, I can really do that. Up to the challenge, Kinley says he pulled out his phone and hit record and started singing. And to his amazement, he wasn't alone. And I'm looking at the camera and I'm seeing him on my phone camera. I'm like, I cannot believe this is actually happening right now. You know what I mean? Kinley says he expected the video to get a few likes and shares online, but never imagined he and Nathan would become internet famous, receiving messages from people all over the world. And most people are just saying, you know, wow, thanks so much for the laugh. You know, we're so glad to have something positive floating around, you know? And I think the most rewarding ones have said, like, man, I really needed to feel some sort of joy. I was going through a tough time. So when we visited, we had to put Nathan's skills to the test. Could he perform in front of a live audience? After shaking off the nerves and getting a feel for the beat, Nathan put his best hook forward. Kinley says being loud, well, it's just Nathan's thing. Imagine if you were a really loud animal and you barely met anybody as loud as you, you know, and finally someone yells around you and you're like, yes, they're more of my kind. So what's next for Nathan? One day I'll have to try to learn Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You and Sooty Does. Nathan is certainly up for the challenge.
