Luxury Model Homes Near Phoenix, Breath-Taking Views, Optional Basement [Living In Fountain Hills]

Today I've brought you out to Fountain Hills, Arizona and this community is all about some amazing views. These are multi-million dollar homes. I'm going to be showing you two luxurious model homes with huge windows, amazing backyards, and living spaces outside with the views that just can't be beat. So let's just jump right in and get started. This home behind me is their Hoffman floor plan with the basement included. So this one is going to have a base price of $2,509,000. You are getting 4,971 square feet, five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, plus two half bathrooms, and a three-car garage. Let's go inside. The elevation of this one that is modeled is the Desert Contemporary. So don't get thrown off if you don't like the outside look of this home because you can pick this floor plan in one of their other exterior finishes. Going down here you can see this is the three-car garage side by side and all of the front yard landscaping is not included in the price of the home. So they do have vendors that you can work with if you would like or I also have referrals I can give you for your landscaping. With this one they did the nice water features in the front yard so as soon as you're coming up to the front gate you hear the sound of that water and I have never seen a swimming pool in the front of a model home but in this case it works. You have your swimming pool right here in the front of your house. The backyard is really an entertainer's dream so I'm excited to show you that as well. You can see that across the street on this lot there are the mountains right in front. Mountain views are pretty much all around you in this community. The backyard has the views too. Okay let's go inside check out this floor plan. In particular I really like the basement on this home. All three floor plans that they offer here give you the option of having it on one level or including the basement which is rare here in Arizona. So coming here you have the high soaring ceilings. This living space up here isn't huge but when you go downstairs you're gonna see you have a lot more space downstairs for entertaining. You have the option of getting the linear fireplace. All of these homes if you don't put in these big sliders I don't know why you're moving out here because the views are everything in this community. Nice big waterfall island up here. You have your top of the line wolf appliances, the enormous refrigerator, and the pantry over here is not that large. I was kind of surprised but there is plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen that you can use as well. You have the nice big gas range and I do like that they have a dedicated room over here for your dining table and with a view like that out the window I can see actually using this dining table. A lot of times people sit at the island when they're eating and they never even use their kitchen table but for sure you're going to want to sit at this table just so you can look out this window at all of the beautiful Saguaro cacti. Coming back here you have your primary bedroom. You also have a primary bedroom downstairs so imagine you wake up in the morning in bed I'm thinking I'm gonna have remote control blinds on here and I'm just gonna from my bed I'm gonna open up the blinds and I'm not even gonna want to get out of bed I'm just gonna want to just relax here and enjoy the view. And you have a little nook over here they actually put a mirror on this wall that's kind of spicy. The ceilings kind of go at an angle here so you could do the wood beam look with a large light fixture over your bed. Very pretty. Some extra storage over here. I like the flooring that they put in some of these rooms the primary bedroom included. I believe this is engineered hardwood. Very nice wood look. And then over here you have your tile. Some storage right over here and you can see they put tile from the floor to the ceiling in this one. There's lighting underneath the cabinets over here. You get a sizable bathtub right here. A nice big walk-in shower. A couple things I wish they would have done. I wish this would be a larger nook and I wish they would put a bench right here. I believe you have the option to do those things if you are building from the dirt up. In this community you can pick out your lot and choose all of the different upgrades that you want or you can get a spec home which is a quick moving home where they've already picked everything out and it is ready to go. And in here you have your beautiful closet. Lots of shelves and cabinets and drawers so you can be all organized. And this closet leads into the laundry room so that's very convenient. And you know what you could also make use of some of these shelves if you wanted to for extra storage that's not fitting in your closet. I came back over here to give you this perspective of the home. There is that front door and we're going to go check out a bedroom that's down this hallway and then there is another room right over here that we still need to check out before we go downstairs. So if you come this way that is the laundry room. We just came out of the laundry room. This is your door to the three-car garage and then you also have this little hallway. This one takes you back to your powder room that you are going to be using for guests when you have them over. And then you also have a bedroom up front. Now this bedroom does have its own full bathroom of course. Right outside the door there's an extra closet and then right over here you have a walk-in closet. And this bedroom also has as an option sliding doors to the front of the house. So potentially your guest could come in here and not even have to walk through the main house. They have this set up as a den obviously and you can see the nice tall ceilings that they have in here. I kind of want to show you all of the great views you can get in this community. And now let's check out that other room on the right when you come in the front door. They have this set up as kind of like a craft or activity room with the table in here but of course this could very easily be another bedroom. It has its own walk-in closet and its own full bathroom. So if you make this a guest room your guests are just not going to want to leave. That's going to be your problem. They're going to come here to visit and they are going to enjoy it so much that they're going to extend their stay or they're just going to book another flight to come out and visit you again. All right before we go downstairs and see the basement which is my favorite part of this house I need to show you their exercise room. It is right over here in this corner and of course you can do whatever you want to with these rooms. Before we go in there you can see that this looks down to the stairway below. It's a glass wall there and I thought this was a nice exercise room, nice fitness room. Right it would be motivating to have a room like this where you can come and get your workout in every day. You can step right outside here when you're done and if the weather permits you know this will be your spot to cool off and just sit down for a minute take a breather or maybe come out here even and do some of your exercises. Okay let's head downstairs. This is kind of where the fun happens. While we're going down here let me remind you that if you want to take a look at model homes you should take your realtor to that first visit. Hopefully that's me because the builder will want to register you and when you do that you waive your right to be represented by a realtor which means you're going to be working just with their sales rep who works for the builder. They are not going to be negotiating for you but I will be and you pay me nothing. I get paid by the builder or the seller if it's a resale home. Those are the stairs where we just came down and I want to take you right outside to see how fun this backyard space is and these are corner sliders so you can just open this up and this entire area is exposed and let's go outside and just get some ideas what you're going to do when you buy your multi-million luxury home here in Arizona and if you're not doing that then you can just come along for the ride and dream and have fun with me just imagining the possibilities or how you can maybe incorporate some of these things into your smaller yard. A nice sitting area here with a fire feature right there. There's just so many things that you could do out here. You have this little shaded table. Come out here and you know have something to eat or play games. Probably see some interesting creatures out here from time to time. Hopefully not snakes but probably rabbits maybe a coyote every now and then. Some interesting birds so you can see there's this long balcony up here. They put in this nice little bar area right here with the built-in grill. Very fun. This is all artificial turf so low maintenance living out here. Desert landscaping. I like to plant things that are green year-round because a lot of my visitors come in the winter when the weather's nice here and it's cold everywhere else and I like it to be nice and green so if you need tips on what you can plant that stays green year-round let me know. I can help you out. All right so this door leads to the primary bedroom that's on the lower level so imagine coming out here. One of you is going to get some training on how to give great massages or you're going to hire someone to come over and give you a massage from time to time and then you're going to jump in your spa, relax your muscles, clear your mind. You're going to be listening to the sound of these water features over here. You're going to be waiting for your bushes to grow and your trees to grow to block the neighbor's view. Of course you can choose a lot with more privacy and then I thought this was fun. On the side of the house they even made use of this space over here with some cool stairs. All along here you're just listening to the water features. Here's a, I don't know what this is called, where the water is falling down the entire length of the wall. Another fire feature over here. A place to sit down and then they have some more steps over here leading to the side of the house. Let's go back inside. I want to show you the primary bedroom that's on the lower level. I actually really like the bathroom for the lower level primary bedroom more than I like it for the one upstairs. They have sports on down here. I mean can you imagine this as a hangout room, a place to watch sports or play video games. You have the bar over here and then right here. Here we go. This is where we're going to go see that primary bedroom that's on the lower level. Very simple, elegant. It has a modern organic vibe about it. Makes you feel like you're on vacation and coming in to the bathroom over here you have your double sinks. You have a closet right here. Not bad but what I liked is the shower. There's your toilet right there. They give you this window that opens up and then I just like how large this shower is. I like the color and design choices and I like that they put the bench over here. Sometimes for whatever reason builders will put the bench on the opposite side as the shower head. I don't think that makes sense so I appreciate that they did it right in this one. And coming out from this bedroom back into the tv room you can see that corner slider really well. We still have one more room back here to show you. There's also another half bath right here and you have another bedroom back here. Maybe you want to put you know your exercise room downstairs. You could do that. This could be your den but as you can see it has its own bathroom and just a regular standard size closet. And here is your bathtub in this one. You can design it however you want. If you want the bathtub down here. If you don't that's your choice. Homes like these can add up quickly when you're figuring in what you're paying for the lot. If you're going to get the basement or not and all the upgrades that you may choose. So the lot premium tier are anywhere from zero up to 1.1 million. Yep that's just for the lot that you choose. So there is everything in between that range but if you want the best lot on the top of the mountain it's going to be 1.1 million dollars. Let's put up a map so you can see exactly where we are today. We are in a city called Fountain Hills and when I think of Fountain Hills I don't necessarily put it in the category as a suburb of Phoenix because it's just quite a distance from the center of Phoenix. But I really think of it as a suburb of Scottsdale because it's a relatively short drive into Scottsdale and I feel like that's where people are going when they live in Fountain Hills. They go up to Scottsdale for events, dining, shopping and really you can get to a lot of different things in Scottsdale within about a half hour. Really you know 20 minutes and you're in Scottsdale already hitting some of their shopping and their restaurants. And of course one of the most famous things here in Fountain Hills is the fountain. It shoots water 560 feet up into the air making it one of the largest fountains on the planet. This floor plan right behind me is their Kato floor plan. This one has a base price of $1,859,000. You are getting 2,935 square feet, three bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and a three car garage. This model home demonstrates the prairie elevation and again the elevation is just referring to which style of the exterior you selected. They have three choices here. Two of them are modeled. The one that isn't is the modern elevation. Over here you can see you get your three car garage side by side. Let's head up to the front door. I think with all of these homes the thing that is initially most striking is the view. Like I can see through these slider doors, through the slider doors on the other side of the house and can already see the mountains and the saguaros. So these homes are going to have lots of windows because it's all about enjoying the beauty of the Arizona desert here. You can see slider doors that are coming from this bedroom. They have this nice water feature in the front of this model home. You have this patio right here with the sliding doors that open. And as soon as you come through this front door you will immediately notice the views out the back. From this perspective you can see that front door. Lots of glass in the front of the house as well. They have these cool built-in bookshelves right here. So simple and yet it really looks elevated. They put in, which is funny, the kind of trendy linear fireplace. And then of course you know they have the fireplace going on the TV. Soaring ceilings again. Let's look at this kitchen. You have the nice big island. Quite a bit of cabinet space and counter space. And you know what? You're going to customize this however you would like. The wolf appliances are a standard feature in this community. These wolf appliances with the red knobs just look sharp. And let's take a look at this pantry. Very well organized. The primary bedroom is going to be right over here but let's go down this section over here by the front door real quick so I can show you the laundry room. Not super normal to have the laundry room in the front of the house by the front door but it works. You also have your door where you're coming in from that three-car garage. And you have your powder room. So that's all kind of by the front door before you come into the main living space. And now let's go check out the primary bedroom. I think you're gonna like this. You're not gonna want to get out of bed in the morning. I'm telling you you have this door leading out to the backyard. The big sliders at the foot of your bed here. And it's like waking up in a fancy Airbnb every day of your life looking out to the great views. And which lot you select is going to determine your views. You can get even better views than this. If you would like them from here you can see some of the houses and you can see the road going through. Other lots are you know not backing the road, not backing as many homes. So you have that option. And let's look at this bathroom back here. There's kind of like this separate area for the bathtub. So for all of my people who love to relax and take a nice soak in the tub this really feels like an escape right here in this area. They put some windows up here. Just the right height for privacy. And a very nice shower over here. They really did the shower portion of their homes right. You turn it on right here. Get it the right temperature. Come on in. You have your bench right where it should be by the showerhead. You have the rainfall showerhead above. The only thing I would do different is I'd make this a little bit larger. Beautiful. And then the closets I'm telling you they kind of made them all look a little masculine. Super organized which is great. Not that that's a masculine trait but I kind of feel like the space could have been used better. Maybe they're just trying to demonstrate all the different things that you can do which isn't a bad idea. So you design your closet the way you want to. Over here you're going to get additional storage. So if you think that closet just isn't quite big enough you can see you're going to have quite a bit of shelving right here where you can put clothes and shoes and bags and things and they're not going to get dusty. And then you come right back out on this side to the bedroom again. There are two more bedrooms right down here but before we look at those let's go outside because it is just fun to go outside and see the outdoor living space. That's why people are moving here primarily is for the gorgeous desert views over here. There's a lot out here to look at but something that stood out to me are these chairs in the swimming pool. This is what they call a baja shelf you know when it's really narrow on part of the pool and they can put chairs but usually they're more like a chaise style and these are you know just kind of like your regular chairs and I thought oh that's kind of cool I like that. You have your your spa right in the middle and they did this so that you know it's flowing over the edge and down below you can go down these stairs which I am going to do and you can go swimming down here. I'm not going to fall in but you can see it goes all the way down and around and you can go back up on the other side and then right over here they made this a covered area for the food prep, the drinks, grilling, eating, laughing, watching the game and then coming down further of course you're fire feature somewhere you have all this water and then it's a nice element to also have a fire feature like this one right here so you could even do you know roast some marshmallows over there if you wanted to. On this side of the pool when you go down they have more of the lounge style of chairs down there as well as a nice little sitting area. These are the doors that go into that primary bedroom and then on this side of the house they did something creative and made a little putting green that goes all around this wall with the vines that are climbing up that wall and what a fun place to entertain. You have worked maybe your whole life now it's time for you to have some play time. Okay let's go look at those two other bedrooms you can go through this way or you can go through this way let's go over here and you can see right there there's a sliding door to the front of the house and a water feature or you can turn this way you're going to have a bedroom on both sides they are both going to have their own bathroom this one obviously is set up as a den sliding doors going out to the front of the house a walk-in closet a full bathroom you have some more storage over here and then this one has the bathroom on this side first which I like because then whoever is sleeping over here can get some peace and quiet if they're sharing this bedroom one person can be getting ready the other person is still sleeping. Right now they have five spec homes available if you don't know what that is that's a quick move-in home where they already picked out all the design choices they have built the home or it's almost done and ready for someone to move in in a matter of weeks or maybe a couple months. The five spec homes that they have right now range in price anywhere from about 2.7 million all the way up to just over 3 million so that kind of is what it ends up being after you add all of those extra items in so if you're in that price point give me a call I'd love to help you out. There are many lots still available here to choose from so you can pick a lot anywhere that has a zero lot premium all the way up to a 1.1 million lot premium depending on what kind of views you're willing to pay for. Coming out here you can see that this is a gated community there are no other amenities per se in this community other than walking trails and of course you're getting the beautiful views but you're going to be paying I believe it's $260 a month. Now there are other communities that are mountainous with the breathtaking views that have clubhouses and activities and more of a social atmosphere so if that's something that you want make sure you reach out so I can help point you in the right direction.
