K House, designed by rear studio in Ho Chi Minh City, is a compact urban residence that transforms the constraints of a narrow site into a carefully orchestrated spatial experience. Built on a 4-by-17-meter plot, the three-story house uses concrete as its primary material and relies on voids, light wells, and vertical connections to bring daylight and ventilation deep into the interior. Rather than emphasizing decoration, the design focuses on spatial clarity, material honesty, and the relationship between light, structure, and everyday living, offering a calm and introspective domestic environment within a dense city context.
