Family Country House with Concrete Aesthetics
This house expresses the idea of a free plan through a transparent ground floor wrapped in glass and anchored by two concrete lines that suspend a wooden volume above. Public functions—living room, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom—occupy the open base, while the kitchen is concealed inside a compact wooden box. Cross ventilation, an exposed concrete ceiling, and full-height openings create strong indoor–outdoor continuity toward the garden. A front concrete wall ensures privacy from the street while allowing controlled afternoon sunlight. Upstairs, three bedrooms with foldable wooden panels form a unified façade that doubles as sun control and privacy screening.
