Pedestrian killed after being struck by 2 vehicles
A pedestrian was killed after he was struck by two vehicles while crossing the street in South Jersey.
The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Thursday as 44-year-old Michael Alvarez of Egg Harbor Township was crossing Route 40 at Cantillon Boulevard in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County.

We have an update on last night's fatal pedestrian crash in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County.
Officials have now identified the victim as 44-year-old Michael Alvarez from Egg Harbor Township.
Just after 7.30, they say Alvarez was crossing Route 40 when he was struck by an SUV traveling westbound.
Moments later, another vehicle traveling in the eastbound lane hit him again.
Alvarez was pronounced dead. Both drivers remained on the scene.
