Hiking China’s Famous Tea Fields | Meijiawu to Longjing
Today we’re walking through the famous tea fields around Hangzhou, hiking from Meijiawu Village to Longjing Village.
This area has been connected to Longjing (Dragon Well) tea for centuries, and walking through these hills really shows how closely nature and daily life are intertwined here.
The trail is mostly quiet, surrounded by tea plantations, forest paths, and small villages. It was a warm day, but the views and the peaceful atmosphere made it a very enjoyable hike.
Later, we continued toward the Lingyin area, but arrived too late to enter the temples. Still, walking around the base of the temple and nearby streets was a beautiful way to end the day.
Thank you for walking with me again.
I hope you enjoy this peaceful walk through Hangzhou’s tea fields.
