Tinyleaf Cabin, designed by GO'C and located in Methow Valley, Washington, is a compact 330-square-foot cabin nestled into a steep hillside, providing a base for year-round outdoor activities. Carefully integrated with the landscape, the cabin's design features cast-in-place concrete walls and large sliding glass doors on its south side to merge indoor and outdoor spaces. The flat roof doubles as a deck and captures snow in winter for added insulation. Inside, a minimalist concrete and wood palette combines with clever, concealed storage solutions, creating efficient use of space in the kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping areas. The cabin’s steel and concrete exterior was chosen to age gracefully alongside the natural surroundings, helping Tinyleaf blend seamlessly into its environment as if it had always belonged.
