Designed by Worrell Yeung, this 4,900 SF family lake house in Connecticut cascades down a steep hillside toward Candlewood Lake. Layered cantilevered concrete roof planes minimize the home’s presence while creating shaded terraces and uninterrupted glass views. An interior courtyard separates public and private spaces, while a planted roof and sustainable materials blur the boundary between architecture and landscape. Conceal-and-reveal moments, natural materials, and precise structural moves redefine the relationship between modern living and the lakeside environment.
