Hoyt just dropped their new Xceed 2 riser and Metrix limbs and I spent time setting them up, tuning, and testing them. Here’s my honest review.

The good:
- My favorite feeling Hoyt riser ever.
- Jumps great, rolls hard, and is the quietest Hoyt I’ve ever shot.
- Setup was quick and simple.
- Hoyt claims each limb layup is optimized for its specific length and weight.

The bad:
- The fit and finish were nowhere near premium expectations: paint runs, orange peel, fish eyes, dirt nibs.
- Limbs creak/crack after letting down and drawing again.
- Only one Vertitune plate included.

Overall? This is the best feeling Hoyt I’ve ever shot, but the build quality and missing pieces left me disappointed for the price point.

Lancaster has confirmed that the other Xceed 2 risers in stock only have one Vertitune Plate in the box, and have no info on if this is a mistake or was planned.

Should I test risers with stock tiller bolts or the Precision Tiller Bolts? Let me know in the comments 👇
