Top 10 Most Expensive Private Yachts Owned by Celebrities

Imagine spending more on a boat than most people will earn in 100 lifetimes. Today, we're diving into the floating palaces of the ultra-rich, where swimming pools and helicopters are just basic accessories. In the next minutes, you'll see why these aren't just yachts. They're basically floating cities that cost more than small countries. Let's start with number 10, and trust me, even this cheapest one will blow your mind. Coming in at number 10 is golf legend Tiger Woods' aptly named yacht, Privacy. At a cool $20 million, this 155-foot vessel might seem modest compared to others on our list, but don't let that fool you. Privacy features a three-person elevator, a jacuzzi that fits eight people, and a state-of-the-art gym where Tiger maintains his championship form. The master suite spans the entire beam of the yacht, and there's enough room to sleep 10 guests in five staterooms. But here's the kicker. The annual operating cost alone is about $2 million. That's right, just to keep this beauty running costs more than most luxury homes. Number 9, Steven Spielberg's Seven Seas. The legendary filmmaker's floating masterpiece costs $300 million, and at 282 feet, it's practically a floating movie studio. The most incredible feature? An infinity pool with a 20-foot glass wall that doubles as a movie screen. Imagine watching Jaws while actually floating in the ocean. Talk about immersive entertainment. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests and requires a crew of 28 people. It also comes equipped with a helipad and a complete professional movie editing suite. Because when you're Steven Spielberg, inspiration can strike anywhere. The Seven Seas yacht has something straight out of a sci-fi movie, an underwater light system so powerful it can illuminate the ocean for 500 feet in any direction. Marine biologists have actually requested to use his yacht for deep-sea research because of this feature. The yacht also has a custom-built storage facility for Spielberg's photography equipment, worth over $2 million alone. Number 8, Giorgio Armani's main, fashion icon. Giorgio Armani's yacht main comes with a price tag of $150 million, but what makes it truly special is its design. The 213-foot vessel looks more like a stealth military craft than a luxury yacht, with sharp angles and a unique green-gray hull that changes color depending on the light. The interior, as you'd expect from Armani, is a masterclass in minimalist luxury. Each piece of furniture was custom-designed by the fashion master himself. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests and requires a crew of 14. Number 7, Sheikh Mansour's Topaz. Sheikh Mansour's Topaz, now renamed A+, comes with a price tag of $527 million. At 482 feet, this yacht features eight levels and includes multiple jacuzzis, two heliports, and a cinema. Sheikh Mansour's Topaz has a system that can create artificial waves in its pools for swimming training. The yacht also has a full-size squash court with motion-compensating floors that stay level even in rough seas. The technology behind this system is classified and used in military vessels. The yacht requires a crew of 60 people and features a conference room that can double as a ballroom, because sometimes you need to mix business with pleasure. Number 6, Nicole Kidman's Hokolani. Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman's Hokolani is a stunning $170 million masterpiece stretching 270 feet. What sets this yacht apart is its innovative indoor-outdoor living design, featuring massive retractable glass walls that transform enclosed spaces into open-air lounges in seconds. The yacht boasts a spa complex with a steam room, massage room, and beauty salon. But the crown jewel? A climate-controlled garden lounge where Kidman can enjoy tropical plants year-round. The vessel accommodates 14 guests and requires a crew of 22 people. The most unique feature has to be its dedicated meditation deck with a yoga studio that offers 360-degree ocean views. Nicole Kidman's Hokolani has a unique security system that includes underwater motion sensors and thermal cameras. But the really crazy part? The yacht has a special safe room that can be detached from the main vessel and function as a self-contained escape pod with enough supplies for two weeks at sea. Number 5, Jeff Bezos' Y721. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' Y721 comes with a jaw-dropping price tag of $500 million. At 417 feet, it's the largest sailing yacht ever built. The most controversial feature? The yacht is so tall that a historic bridge in Rotterdam had to be temporarily dismantled just to get it to sea. It features three massive masts, a support yacht with a helipad because the sails prevent a helicopter from landing on the main yacht, and an in-deck swimming pool. The interior details are kept secret, but with Bezos' budget, you can bet it's outfitted with every imaginable luxury. Number 4, David Geffen's Rising Sun. Media mogul David Geffen's Rising Sun is a beast, measuring 454 feet and costing $400 million. This floating city features 82 rooms across five levels, a basketball court that doubles as a helipad, and a movie theater with a massive screen. But here's the crazy part. It has its own private firefighting system and hospital. The yacht requires a crew of 45 people and can accommodate 16 guests in absolute luxury. The wine cellar alone can hold 8,000 bottles. Now that's what I call being prepared for a long voyage. Number 3, Roman Abramovich's Eclipse. Now we're getting into the really serious territory. The Eclipse cost Roman Abramovich $1.5 billion, and at 533 feet, it was once the largest private yacht in the world. It features two helicopter pads, two swimming pools, and 24 guest cabins. But the most James Bond-worthy feature? A missile detection system and an anti-paparazzi shield that uses lasers to block photography. The yacht requires a crew of 70 people and has its own submarine that can be deployed in less than 60 seconds, and that can dive to a depth of 50 meters. Talk about an escape plan. The Eclipse's anti-paparazzi system isn't just for show. It can detect the electronic light sensors used in digital cameras and fire a targeted beam of light at them, ruining any attempted photograph. The system cost $28 million to develop. Number 2, Jerry Jones's Bravo Eugenia. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones's superyacht cost $250 million, but it's the technology that makes it special. At 357 feet, it's one of the most environmentally friendly megayachts ever built, featuring a hybrid propulsion system that reduces emissions by 30%. The yacht has a beach club, gym, and not one but two helipads. But the most impressive feature? A recovery room with cryotherapy chamber, perfect for treating those football injuries. Number 1, Mohammed bin Salman's Serene. Taking the crown for the most expensive celebrity-owned yacht is Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Serene, with a price tag of $580 million. At 439 feet, this floating palace features multiple swimming pools, two helipads, and an underwater viewing room. But that's just the beginning. It has a snow room for indoor snowball fights, a climbing wall, and even a submarine hangar. The yacht requires a crew of 52 people and includes 15 guest rooms. The most mind-blowing feature? A hangar that can accommodate a seaplane, because sometimes a helicopter just isn't enough.
