First Class on England's Ultra Luxury Sleeper Train

Today I’m taking England’s Ultra Luxury Train, starting with Celia, an extraordinary private carriage on the British Pullman, before travelling north to the Lake District aboard Belmond’s Britannic Explorer. I’ll be staying in Juniper, one of only three Grant Suite's onboard, complete with its own living room, double bed and private bathroom. Along the way i’ll take you inside the train’s restaurants, observation lounge and onboard spa, while sampling menus created by three Michelin starred chef, Simon Rogan.
As usual this trip was self funded but due to an operational issue when I first tried to take the Britannic Explorer, the cost was rather different than anticipated! I'll break this down in the video. In all, this retails as one of the most expensive ultra luxury train journeys in the world… but is it worth it?
