Magpies waiting for breakfast!

Magpies friends with the Community. In some parts of Mildura the Australian Magpies don’t swoop people because they see people as friends. The weather can get to extreme hot tempertures which makes the Magpies, that live in town, hard to find worms and other insects during the day. There is not enough natural environment for them. However these magpies visit my mother for some food and there are others these magpies visit to get a feed until old enough to leave the mother magpie. These Magpies still look for worms and insects in the lawn and other places. They are like visitors keeping smiles on the faces of those that they visit. They also have to watch out for the neighbours cat! In video Mother magpie is on the ground and she is not afraid to walk up to you. This mother magpie has had numerous baby magpies over the years! She is a good mother, teaching her young how to get along with humans and also manners as the young magpies have to wait their turn to be fed by her.
