Cloud House on Ashtamudi Lake | Sustainable Tropical Living in Fluid Architecture

Cloud House is a compact weekend retreat set along the tranquil Ashtamudi Lake in India, designed with a strong focus on sustainability and reuse. The house blends new curved forms with traces of an existing structure, creating fluid spaces that adapt to the hillside terrain and surrounding tropical trees. Through passive ventilation, recycled materials, and a minimal footprint, the project demonstrates a thoughtful approach to climate-conscious tropical living, where architecture gently mediates between nature, space, and human comfort.
