Christmas — A Time to Choose Freedom of Conscience
Christmas has always been more than lights and gifts.
It is a reminder of conscience, redemption, and the freedom to believe.
On Christmas Eve at St Paul’s Cathedral, people from different cultures and beliefs gathered peacefully.
As the crowd dispersed into the cold night, one truth remained clear:
Faith can be shared in a cathedral —
but conscience is carried individually.
Around the world today, millions of people are persecuted for their beliefs — including Christians, Falun Gong practitioners, and others who choose conscience over silence.
Freedom of belief is not a Western value or an Eastern value.
It is a human value.
If you believe no one should be imprisoned, tortured, or disappeared for their faith or conscience, you may choose to add your name in support of freedom of belief for all.
Christmas asks us all one question:
What will you choose?
