We begin at the Old Royal Mint, which rises its future twin — a ‘mega-embassy’ complex close to the city’s historic vaults of money. Followed by a few miles east, Portland Place — the current Chinese Embassy — a symbol of diplomatic presence in the age of digital pressure.

From there, the trail crosses to the BBC — Britain’s heart of public broadcasting and narrative control — and up to the BT Tower, once a Cold-War telecom hub, now a cloud of data and surveillance signals.

Together they form London’s ‘cyber grid’: finance, diplomacy, media, and communication all woven into one network.
