Join our Paper Conservator as she prepares eight of the 25 drawings by Annibale Carracci being loaned to the Louvre in an exciting new exhibition.

In the conservation studios of Windsor Castle treatments such as ink consolidation, remounting and humidification were used on eight beautiful drawings to ensure their long-term preservation. These drawings will join other surviving Carracci drawings from collections across Europe, offering visitors and scholars a rare opportunity to explore the evolution of his ideas from sketches to full-scale cartoons.
