Award-Winning Curved Concrete Home on Brazil's Coast - Casa Riviera
Gui Mattos' Casa Riviera combines exposed concrete, glass, and wood to create an architecture that opens to the Atlantic Forest and transforms the landscape into part of the experience. Located on Brazil’s central coast of São Paulo, the residence uses louvers, an internal courtyard, curved frames, and clean surfaces to reveal dynamic perspectives while the layout integrates social areas, pool, and gathering spaces. Contemporary design, the use of authorial craftsmanship, and an intense connection between interior and exterior create a sensorial, welcoming, and sophisticated home where each step reveals a new detail. This project, featuring interiors by Studio Julliana Camargo, won the Architecture Hunter Awards 2025 in the Residential Interior Design category.
