FlightScope MEVO & x3 /// How Do They Compare?

welcome back to the channel welcome back to Orlando a couple hours from Jacksonville down here getting my competitive training wheels broken off yet again it's been two months so I'm playing some moonlight stuff trying to get the rust and my head on straight and it's it's it's been it's been a struggle played poorly yesterday put a little bit better today playing tomorrow at a place where I shot 66 last time so hopefully I can take that mojo into tomorrow's round but like the video title says I'm at flight scope right now it's right behind me I'm in the flight scope parking lot talking to you what am I doing here at flight scope I don't really know maybe I'm gonna see some new product maybe I'm not maybe I'm gonna meet someone new on the team it know I am meeting someone new on the flight scope team a lot of big things happening with flight scope and it's cool being part of the team now so when I am down here or down here in Orlando it's awesome to just send them a text be like hey y'all free and like yeah come on in bring the camera and I never know what we're gonna find in there so let's go into flights go [Music] Alex what are we doing here so we're just basically we have the fam set up and we're running it up 4,700 frames per second so that we can see a club going through the strike zone and we use this in our Rd and development for not only the MIMO but all of our products and it's a way of verifying that our numbers are looking nice and clean it's awesome so I made a few wedges we'll get the numbers and then we'll get the nitty gritty up there [Music] we click through flame like plants so this shows angle of attack [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so if so the aerospace guys say that because of the way that the loft interacts with with the air and drag the drag so a wedge actually has more drag than a 3-iron that make sense so because of the way that the loss is interacting yeah so it creates drags when you can because I'm a variable-length well you can explain that if they're longer shaft whenever but on the same length you and it's you know a wedge in my swing 90 and the three 1:06 so it's like yeah and that's what they say it's the aerodynamic properties of how the the club interacts with me so so with those last two kind of like hi tell me a little bit [Music] so we've got the x3 set up and I just hit a crap driver off the heel so there are the vivo numbers this is for the people that want to know you know if there's a little bit of variance between Evo and X 3 basically ball speed is 156 on my own 1/2 on Club speed 110 one away again they're there in different yes yeah launch is 13 to 13 5 spent 27 spend 24 and then carried to 54 to finished up been saying on the video I already made that yes a yard - degree or variance with me boat to the x3 and there you have it there we have an x3 we have a Meebo so for people hitting drivers and working with the longer clubs yeah you're gonna have to off but the end of the day that's still pretty spot-on for when you're working on that aspect of your game but now we'll hit a wedge you can see just how close the numbers are with wedge so here is that sand wedge and again on the video when I took with me while the golf course kind of I was always pacing it or lasering it but here our numbers good 84 to 85 club 82 to 80 but that's very different position right in top 50 to park Spin City much the same carrier within a yard look in the art so there's your answer 4 X 3 and vivo there you go hope you enjoyed another inside look at flight scope headquarters fun little time there with the phantom camera just hitting some balls shooting the breeze with the team talking about what's coming and what's coming it's pretty cool hope you enjoyed this video give it a thumbs up subscribe if you haven't and I will see you in the next one [Music]
