Taiwan’s President: China Acting More Aggressively

Taiwan's president William Lai, said on Wednesday that China is ramping up military aggression toward Taiwan. He said China’s military drills targeting Taiwan are becoming increasingly frequent and intense. Beijing is now projecting power deeper into the Indo-Pacific, a region long dominated by U-S and Western navies.

Beijing is now moving beyond the first island chain into the second island chain. The latter is a chain of islands sitting closer to the U.S.
