welcome guys first edition here at the Garden of the Gods here in Southern Illinois I welcome you guys and uh thank you for joining us on the trail again cuz there's some spectacular things up here oh my goodness guys Smitty and just look at these Stones guys so again here the garden of the god see that sun coming through guys if I turn it to this direction you can see the big rock let's follow this Trail and see what we see out front I think it's going to be a gift from the wonderful Creator and we just thank the L and God for oh that is good so we got to get on the top of these right a better view this is a good place okay wow what how' you do that just jump across oh look at this chimney is this special and this shows there's some signs we can show them over there too there's a trail over there too huh well we're taking these people oh there's your p that's right there junior junior stomper he's no longer a junior wamper he's a junior stomper woo be careful brother be very careful Junior all right Stay On These rck Bricks here and they lead the way guys when you're here Garden of the Gods here in Southern Illinois uh shaie National Forest correct it looks pretty sweet right there too see these roots here guys look at this rock it's like rimstone dams almost inside of those caves in Berry spring cave guys there little rimstone buildups just a nice little swirl here holy cow and I would say we're pretty good ways up here yeah now with those people walking on the very bottom yeah we could do that if we want okay go all over this place look at this juniper tree right I think so wow you see them berries thank you Lord for your Amazing Creation [Music] look at this guys very very very unique formation with the Round Top on top there's the face up there smiling he where with a cap right here this guy right here okay I see yeah looking right out what's behind us so he's happy about something over here guys let's go down a little further and figure out what layers of the rock here maybe some more smiley faces up here guys and then here's the Vantage Point that's that's behind us you hear some people yeah they're up there where up there at the Viewpoint there's another one yeah that's where we're going next what's up brother good man sending yall some love there's Explorer Matt in his favorite spot guys well not second favorite spot cuz he loves the Ozarks but he loves his next spot we're going to go to tomorrow we call it Snake Road so y'all get ready for that episode click on it should be a smashing hit hopefully we get to go worldwide with 21 different species there so there's where we want to start filming and do you have this [Music] got to be man this is like some this looks like what you'd find inside the caves yeah you know but it's on the outside basically guys Garden of the Gods here in Southern Illinois this thing is well built right here looks like we're on Barry's deck there in the Ozarks anybody wants to come to Barry crave oh there's a cave up there brother let's go up there oh no it's a hollow spot I see the opening that's cool but you go up there if you want yeah we we should be able to get up to thep oh I see brother look at this Garden of the Gods guys you can see why these stones are just magnificent what a creation Oh you talked about it right here okay bizar band right here okay let's read about these guys go ahead and click that all right guys there's more people on the trail it's so awesome and uh never never never gets old meet and good Souls guys especially nice campers and hikers so I'm going to read this one more time brown swirls and rings on these rocks are called Lisa gang long ago when the Sandstone was underground it was saturated with ground water mixed with iron that's why it was underground at one time chemicals changed caused the iron to solidify and the rust between the rock particles held together by the iron the raised dark bands that you're see seeing right there have resist weathering and compared to the softer lighter colored Rock the patterns of bands result in these chemical changes so that's what you're seeing here guys and this Co to get the history as you can hear the forest is coming alive we're here at Sunset guys we're going to the top now you got I know you're there you got to feel I know you're you got to feel I [Music] know where am I holy cow are y'all here with me guys we're here in a shaune national forest at Garden of the Gods located in Southern Illinois y'all need to come check this place out this energy is so so radical I can't believe I just I thought I was dreaming look at that view guys [Music] [Music] n s [Music] like that's a special Mountain that one right the CER yeah that cool hearing those coyot welcome guys magical world 3600 Acres the views the energy people you hear him laughing mat can you get up there and show us a video a little closer yeah over there on that one yeah you guys see that Moon look at that view have an ancient sea are you are your feet wet they would have been 320 million years ago when shallow sea covered this area you hear nature in this AA Great Rivers deposited layers in sand and mud along the seashore region and was slowly sinking as these materials built up the Heat and the pressure of the burial turned the sand and mud into stone eventually the land began to rise and the Sea retreated Southward leaving the stones exposed what you see today is result of millions of years of Nature's weathering forces imagine changes that will occur another million years from now guys this is again shaie National Forest Garden of the Gods Wilderness still got the sunet going where else would you want to spend newly vacation I'm here na yeah pretty steep you here bro yeah come read this sign so God loves us all it's amazing wow only graffiti I like yeah the only one we've ever seen [Music] theine makes your feet a little littleit sh well somewhere around these rocks there's actually some uh what do you call them belt loops where you can rock climb off yeah this one gets my knees shaking guys all right guys Indian Point here Garden of the Gods here in Southern Illinois want to welcome everybody and just take a look we saw the sunrise coming up and then we're going to walk out to the edge and show you this less travel path the other path is real close to the road so people are going to be on it but me and Matt Explorer Matt we've hiked a good ways to get here so we're going to walk on some of these rock edges guys take you with us over here sounds good you see got the sunrise coming up here Garden of the Gods it's uh here in Southern Illinois we're just passing through down from Cincinnati so wherever you're at guys you guys can reach this place too we're just going to take a little bit of just point through these trees I'm going to show them these rocks still cool stacked up yeah I know these rocks bless you explore man what do you got for the camera today man this is just a special place here in the southern Illinois it's probably my fourth or fifth time time coming here well actually probably third and every time I come here it feels like the
