1 Million Mochi a Day! Inside the Mochi Factory — The Making Process of Mochi Sweets

This time, I photographed Japan's most famous everyday confection: warabi mochi. Though a summer-only wagashi, this factory alone produces a staggering 150 million pieces. You can find it cheaply at supermarkets across Japan, usually selling for around one dollar. They also mass-produce other classic wagashi like anko-filled daifuku and sakura mochi. Since it's so easily accessible at supermarkets, why not give it a try if you see it? It's truly delicious.
