Everything today with Yu Menglong starts with this video.
Now, I'll play it for you here.
This is Yu Menglong, as you can see clearly.
He's out and about with a girl.
This was caught in 2021, by the way.
This was by a Chinese paparazzi who posted this onto social media.
Now, back then, people were speculating, like, who is this mysterious girl?
And they seem to be in love.
I mean, look at them.
The body language, their clothes.
It doesn't look like they're, you know, sisters and brothers.
Yu Menglong doesn't have a sister, so there's that.
But also, you see, like, they're holding hands.
Let me just zoom out a little bit so you can see better.
That's a whole one.
All right.
Yeah, so they're going around shopping, right?
This is, you can clearly see that's him and that's her.
This was back in 2021.
And then this is the second day.
Also, again, like, they're out and about.
One's in a hat.
The other one's, I think he had a mask.
Yeah, he had a mask on.
And just give it a second here and see what they're doing.
Yeah, so they're, like, hugging, right?
You can't tell me this is not some sort of, like, a close relationship, like, intimate
relationship.
Now, obviously, the question is, who is this woman?
As it turns out, people thought that this was the girl on the left here, Song Yiren,
who was one of the original six people, actually part of that 17 people list, who were there
that night when he passed away.
They thought it was her, Song Yiren.
But Song Yiren has widely been believed now to be, like, a predator on male stars.
So she's not somebody who's good either.
But she's heavily involved with the whole case.
But then people realized it's actually Kan Xin, this lady here on the right.
Now, Kan Xin is a whole different person.
But if you just zoom in here, you can see why people thought it was the girl on the
left.
Their noses are similar.
Their mouths are similar.
Chins are similar.
Eyebrows, the forehead spacing, even haircuts, like, the smile, everything, right?
Like, if you couldn't — like, you tell me that they're sisters or even, like, twins,
I believe you.
So, yeah, people were mistaken that it was the girl on the left, but it's actually the
girl on the right.
Now, why does that matter?
Okay, so let's talk about Kan Xin, the lady in that video.
So Kan Xin — oh, by the way, the paparazzi confirmed that it's her, not Sonya.
So she was born in 1995, August 2nd, in Hubei province.
She graduated from Tianjin Conservatory of Music and is a Chinese film and television
actress.
Now, in 2019, this is where things changed.
So in 2019, she did a film called The Chanting Willow.
You can see her down here.
The Chanting Willow was a film that got nominated for the Golden Rooster, which is like China's
version of the Oscars.
And you can't believe — you can't be surprised as to what her relationship is to other people
of that 17th murder party.
This guy on the left here, Chen Qingsong, is a director, I call him C.
He actually recommended her for that movie, The Chanting Willow.
So they're very close.
And this guy here on the right is Ji Guangguang.
He's like the guy who owned the apartment.
So as you can see, they're in a photo together, and these two are very, very close.
I'll get back to that later, but just know the relationship.
Internet users now, this week, have turned their attention essentially on this girl named
Kan Xin.
And what we know about her connection is that this USB stick that came the night where they
basically opted for that USB stick, which contains the evidence of money laundering,
is believed to have been told to the girlfriend of Yu Menglong, who we know is Kan Xin.
And she's the one who actually leaked it to her friend, who is this guy in the photo here,
named C. Somehow, that information leaked out to these people, likely through her.
So she has become the centerpiece of how Yu Menglong's secret that he's basically,
in the background, gathering information on these people who have been abusing him for
so long.
And I guess he trusted her to tell the story.
Now, the question is, though, because when I first saw this video, this intimate video,
I wasn't very convinced that this is some kind of an authentic display, because they're
actors.
For them to put on a PDA, it's pretty easy.
So there's, I think, plausible reasons to think that this could be forced upon Yu Menglong.
Maybe they weren't dating, but that girl needed to be forced upon her for certain reasons.
We know that this whole situation didn't just start this year.
It's been a decade since Yu Menglong has been in the scene, that they've already targeted
him.
I mean, this could very well be possible.
But that's just kind of my initial thought.
So talking about Kan Xin, because they look so similar, my immediate thought was like,
okay, well, now that we know there's an extra person from that Seventeens list,
we need to understand where she was that night.
So as it turns out, according to just photos that they've shown, she's the one that's circled
in the photo.
They were in this dinner party.
So the dinner party, it happened the night before.
So September 10th is when it happened.
And September 11th, they had...
Sorry, no, this is September 12th.
September 11th, the C guy had posted a Weibo post that said that, oh, today, my friend
and I, Kan Xin, we saw a show, and then we're going to go to this dinner party.
So the alibi for them was that they were at this dinner party.
Except the problem is, this girl doesn't look like her at all.
None of these people in here actually look like her.
And C is also not in here as well.
So this so-called dinner party didn't actually happen.
Or if it did happen, they didn't have a photo to prove it, even though her name is up here.
The other person, yeah, I don't know.
Unless this photo is from another dinner party.
But other members in the photos are also part of that 17 people list.
So at least what we know is that they're all connected.
Okay, now let's keep going.
So now, even though we know that there's more than 17 people,
there's probably 30 to 40 people involved now.
One of the key issues that never really, at least I didn't understand it, is
if Yu Menglun had been abused for so long, how did they keep it a secret?
Couldn't he just go around and tell other people about it?
And I think one of the things that maybe they studied as well,
or maybe it's something that just ended up happening, is as a victim,
in those really desperate moments, somebody that comes into your life,
seemingly they're fully in support of what you're going through as an outsider,
not involved in this at all.
That was somebody that Yu Menglun had met, which in my opinion,
now based on the evidence so far, might be Kan Xin.
But then Kan Xin ended up being a spy that was placed next to Yu Menglun
to basically rat him out whenever there's something that goes wrong.
Because you need somebody who is really around him on a personal level
to really know what he's thinking if he's going through this.
Which by the way, makes me think this whole thing is just so twisted.
It's an entire planned scheme over this one person that they're trying to get rid of.
So Kan Xin seems to be that lady that is the spy,
pretends to be Yu Menglun's girlfriend, gains his trust,
and then finds out that he had this USB stick, which contained all of this information
about the people who were involved in money laundering.
And that's when they decided to finish him off that night.
Okay. So no matter what, Kan Xin's relationship with the people involved
in the death of Yu Menglun is clear.
Now, obviously there's some reputable sources online that say,
well, Kan Xin is not really Yu Menglun's type.
And that Kan Xin is simply somebody who had a one-sided affection,
one-sided love for Yu Menglun.
And in fact, because Yu didn't end up dating her,
she got so mad.
And when it came to time to go like this on Yu Menglun, she hit the hardest.
So that's some of the contradicting evidence, right?
So the person that posted this has been an authority on this whole situation.
So I mean, you take it how you want with it.
But there's obviously a contradicting side to this.
Because apparently Yu Menglun's ideal type of girl is somebody named this,
or this is his ideal type.
This girl here.
So this is apparently his ideal type.
And yeah, she kind of looks like her.
I mean, she kind of looks like her, maybe.
But anyways, the point is, it's hard to tell what the guy's thinking, right?
Because I mean, obviously you can't ask him anymore.
Okay, now a little bit of update on what has happened since we talked about the museum.
So one of the exhibits, the red string display, is actually getting removed.
So this is interesting.
They're taking this down with a forklift and stuff like that.
So the exhibit, if I didn't make myself clear last episode,
the exhibit is more like a...
It's what they're into.
It's not like the exhibit itself has some issues, right?
But it's this very weird, eerie, depressing type of exhibit.
This kind of art that they're into speaks volume about what kind of people they are, right?
Okay, so the issue with this is that there's a lot of conflicting information online.
You might have seen something like this circulating around.
So Yu Malone, one of his last posts, this was in June of 2025,
he went to the 798 cube, which is a 798 art district, and there's art museums there.
But the 798 area is actually kind of far.
So I'll show you the Google map here.
So 798 is up here.
One of the last places where Yu Malone did a live stream and where he was
apparently being held at is the Bulgari Hotel in Beijing.
Okay, so the problem is this.
In these shots or these videos, they're showing the Bulgari Hotel,
and it has an underground tunnel connecting it to the museum that's a part of the hotel,
which is called Xihao Museum.
So this museum is in the hotel, and it's where Yu Malone did the last live stream from.
So people were speculating that this museum and the long hallway,
because they're connected, that there's some underground levels there or some chambers
where they kept him and basically did stuff to him.
But again, there's a lot of conflicting information because that hotel is down here,
and the art district is up here.
So there's a 15-minute drive between the two.
It's not far, but this is where a lot of the thinking was that this is where they kept
the plastination, like what I talked about in the last video, if you haven't seen it,
go watch that.
But basically, people who have also passed away, they found their belongings in there,
all those things.
But 15 minutes drive to that hotel, there's another museum, which in this museum is where
he, when he was still alive, might have faced a lot of the misery.
So to clarify that up.
And then the third one is called the Red Brick Museum.
So the Red Brick Museum is even further out of the way.
It's next to the Capital Airport in Beijing.
This museum is just where the people frequent with their twisted exhibits.
So this one, so far, doesn't seem like there's stuff.
There's some stuff being talked about how the body of Yu is being kept here.
But again, there's no confirmation on that.
So what we can say is just that it's three separate places,
kind of far from each other, and we can't really tell what's going on there.
Clearly, some stuff is being talked about.
I just simply can't give you a definitive answer because I don't think it's enough to say.
Okay, now the last thing I want to talk about, and this is very interesting.
It's in Chinese, but I'll try my best to kind of commentate and explain what's going on.
Now, on August 31st, on Red Note, or Xiaohongshu, there was a post here,
like a random person posted this.
This is two weeks before the whole thing happened.
It just reads XZZ, XXZZZZ, ZZZ, XZ, and then a bunch of Zs, and then ZZZ, ZZ.
And then this little bracket here, Z, this here, the Sansheng Sanshi Shili Taohua is the drama
that Yu Menglong was in.
So Eternal Love, that's the English name.
So Eternal Love, one of the first things he did, the drama.
So a bunch of English letters, and then the drama name, Eternal Love.
And then the next part is in Chinese, which says,
说切让肉,上日人睡球票,试球票, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Okay, so people saw this, and they're like,
why is Eternal Love being mentioned here two weeks before Yu Menglong died?
So people interpreted it.
Let's do the first part first.
So the XZZX stuff is the abbreviation of the way that Chinese do Pinyin spelling.
So just like how in English it's abbreviated to the first letter,
you can kind of think of what word it means.
Like LOL is laugh out loud, or LMAO is laugh my ass off, or those kind of things, right?
Like an abbreviation or acronym.
So if you do that in Pinyin, you get the next week,
the week after next week, we're going to do something to that little guy, or to that dude.
Okay, that's essentially what it means.
And then this one says, around this time now, we still need to find an organizer to do the,
I guess you would call it like the torture, or to do the stuff on whatever they're doing.
So in order, if you read this all together, then it will be like,
the week after next week, we will do something and kidnap this guy.
But this period, we still need to find an organizer,
and then we will capture and then do things to this guy.
Now, if I go back, so whatever they're grabbing or capturing,
it has to do with the drama Eternal Love, right?
Because this is the drama name, Eternal Love.
So it makes you wonder, okay, well, this was posted on August 31st.
The week after next week, which is actually the week that things happened to Yimeng Long,
they're saying they're going to capture the guy, something from this Eternal Love drama.
Okay, obviously, the connection is clear now.
They were trying to target Yimeng Long.
And the next one gets even crazier, because here's all in Chinese, right?
It's all in the characters.
So you do the opposite.
You do the acronym, but for the Chinese Pinyin spelling to get what you really want.
So this is what they did.
So the first Pinyin acronym for what they did here.
So this is the original line on top.
S-Q-R-R-S-R-R-S-Q-P-S-Q-P-Q-S-R-R-S-Q-P-S-Q-P-Q-S-R-S-S-S-R.
Now, if you do this, and I don't know if you guys ever did biology class where they do the
RNA translation into tRNA, mRNA, all those things.
This is basically like that, right?
A-C-T-G.
So it says Shiqi let a person go to the Japanese community for taking photos.
Qingsong let send people to cut and to take out the disc wall something.
Okay.
So basically it means that they are assigning roles.
Some person named Shiqi, maybe Fan Shiqi, like the Chinese celebrity.
Chen Qingsong, meaning like the director, C, right?
So C would send someone to cut open something to get a disc, which if you read it properly,
it's a USB stick, right?
And then Fan Shiqi is the Chinese celebrity who will take care of the filming.
And then Pierre says Qingsong again.
So C would discard something.
Let me find the...
Yeah, I can't really find the original because this came from a video, but that's crazy because
now essentially what they've done is they try to communicate...
Also explain why this is a valid thing.
It's not some conspiracy because in Chinese phones,
plausible is because of how the Chinese type on their phones.
Now, if you had one of those old Motorola, you would see this interface as well.
But basically instead of having the Q-W-E-R-T-Y keyboard, you have the A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-N.
So when you want to type, say hello, you would type in Ni Hao, right?
And then G-H-I, so three times here.
And then two times, and then one time, and then three times again.
So again, Ni Hao, right?
This also works with landlines and stuff like that.
That's how they get your nine digit phone numbers sometimes.
So there's that, right?
And which means what they've done is essentially they've used that same method here for your
message.
So that's why it does work.
And this is really crazy now because from what we understand from the whole picture,
the night that it happened is a carefully planned execution, literally execution,
but also execution in the way that it was done based on a planning.
And they were communicating this online somehow.
And now we know how they were doing it.
They found a way to do this, which in my opinion, I think is unnecessary if this is true,
because they have so much political power to begin with.
There's no reason for them to even need this because if things happen,
I mean, they can just get away with it.
But I think maybe they did think that if something like this were to happen to Yu
Menglong, things could get really explosive.
And so people might start to wander around.
And that's why they posted something like this, right?
Again, none of this is like 100% confirmation that this is how it happened.
It's just what people have been finding out.
So yeah, that's it for today's episode.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Do you think whatever is being talked about here, this cryptic, almost like the...
It's almost like we're cracking the Nazi enigma code in a way, or at least they did.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Thanks for watching this episode, and we'll see you next time.
