Mark here and today we're going to talk
about the Elite Flood Light by Real
Link. So, what did I get when I received
the package? Uh, I had a little bit of
help from my cat Kota. Uh, so, uh, he
helped me out with the unboxing here for
a little bit. Uh, and what I first
received was a cable, a cord. So, this
cord is meant to wire up to a plug-in
outlet. Uh, now you don't need to go
this route. You can actually hook this
up to a junction box, either one that
you're planning on installing or maybe
you have one already installed that is
uh a light for your house. Uh, you can
remove the light and then install this
unit to that. Uh, so getting to the box,
uh, what do we have inside? Of course,
we have the decals stickers and we have
the instruction package. Uh, and then
inside we have a small box and the
camera. So, the small box contains uh a
tightening tool as well as hardware uh
for the installation and of course a
USBA to USB C cable. So, this is used
for the initial setup. Uh, so you'll
want to before you install that, plug
that in, plug that into your uh, uh,
power source and then use the app to
install it. Of course, the app's pretty
easy. Um, alls you need is a QR code.
Uh, on all of Real Link cameras, it's
somewhere usually on the back of the
camera. Uh, and it's a pretty straight
through operation. Now, the last thing,
of course, in there is the camera
itself. Uh, and then on the back of the
camera, you have a mounting plate that's
on there. Uh, so you want to first mount
that mounting plate, get all that
sorted. Uh, and then once you're ready
to go, you um mount the camera to it.
And there's two screws that secure it in
place. It's a pretty easy installation.
Uh but I do urge uh that if you are
working with electrical and you're not
comfortable with it to please reach out
to an electrician uh who can help you
out with that portion of it. So the
resolution of this camera is 5120x
1552
uh 8 megapixels at 20 frames per second.
Uh the field of view spread is of course
180° by 59° vertical. So, you do get a
full shot and it's nice for the side of
a house. Uh, so you can see pretty much
everything. If you had four of these
cameras, for example, you would have
overlap on a lot of areas of your house,
uh, and you'd be able to essentially see
everything. Uh, they do also make the
Argus 4 Pro, which does have color night
vision without the flood lights. Uh, so
the flood light ones you would probably
use maybe on your back door or on your
garage uh somewhere of that nature and
then you could go with the Argus 4 Pro
uh to get the other areas uh that don't
necessarily need a flood light. Real
Link now has their new AI and it is
called Rio Nura. And what it does is it
uses all of the footage in your database
uh and it scrubs it for any information
that you're requesting. So, for example,
I did a search for uh a red vehicle.
That's all I put in, just a red vehicle.
And what I got from that is multiple
clips showing all of the different red
vehicles that it had detected. Uh if you
have someone in a blue shirt, maybe it
was somebody snooping around your yard
in a blue shirt, then all you have to do
is type in blue shirt into the search
and voila, there you go. You've got all
the clips of people that were in blue
shirts. With that in mind, there are a
number of geo fencing technologies that
are also in this camera. Uh, so here on
the farm, I don't have to worry too much
about that. Uh, because I'm not seeing
neighboring properties. But let's say
you live in a residential area in a city
and you have a sidewalk and you have the
road and you have even houses across the
road. uh you don't want to be detecting
things that are outside the boundaries
of your area. If somebody were to cross
that line, the camera would then
activate and start recording or turn on
the flood lights if that's set. Now,
getting back to the flood lights, uh
they do have multiple settings. You can
do a dust till dawn uh if you want just
lights on all the time. Uh they can be
on a timed circuit. So you can have them
come on and off at certain times during
the night. Uh and then there's also the
detection. So motion tracking uh as soon
as somebody is motion tracked on the
camera, the lights will then come on uh
free for a predetermined amount of time
that you can set in the app. The flood
lights are 3000 lumen. And they can be
adjusted both in brightness and in color
temperature. So you can adjust it from
3,000 Kelvin to 6,000 Kelvin. Uh meaning
from a cool light to a warmer light. And
you can set this up to maybe match your
preferences. Maybe you have a certain
color temperature light on your house uh
that you want to match it up with. So
recording and playback. Now, there's
three different options here. The first
one is, of course, a micro SD card. Uh,
this camera will accept up to a 512
gigabyte card. Uh, that can be inserted
into the camera and do local recording
there. Now, there's always question
about what happens if somebody steals my
camera, then all that footage is gone
because, of course, it's in the micro SD
card that's in the camera. So, there are
two other options. Uh the other option
is you can have a hub, a real link hub
or an NVR, a network video recorder. Uh
and you can pair your wireless and wired
cameras all to your NVR or your hub and
you can safely store all of your data
inside your home or business, keeping it
safe. Somebody steals your camera,
they're not stealing the data. Uh so
those two options are free. There are no
extra fees after you purchase the
camera. Uh there are no cloud storage
fees unless you want that option. So of
course it is an option. They can store
data on their cloud. Of course there is
uh a small fee for that. But the other
two options are completely free, which
is why I really like the real link
system. Uh cuz you buy the camera, you
spend that money. Maybe you buy an SD
card or a hub or NVR, you're set. Uh you
don't have to make any more payments.
You own the system, you own your own
personal storage cloud, and everything
is secure. So, how does the audio sound?
Well, I did an audio test.
Unfortunately, it was a little windy,
but that's actually not a bad thing. Uh
because you don't want to do recording
in perfect environments. You want it in
a real environment. Uh so here's the
footage that I took of the audio test at
25 and 50 ft away from the camera.
Sound test at 50 ft.
Sound test at 25 ft.
So, I did some recording at night just
to kind of get an idea of what we're
looking at for night vision. It does
have IR camera lights. So, it will
record infrared at night without the
flood lights. if the flood lights are
on. Of course, that IR turns off and you
get full color vision. Uh, so here's
some of that clip that I took at night.
So, that's it for the Real Link WiFi
Flood Light. I hope you enjoyed this
video, and I hope it answered all of the
questions that you have about it. If
not, please leave a comment down below
in the comment section, and I will uh
answer your questions as best I can.
Take care and we hope to see you again.
Bye.
