Oil Painting Timelapse - "Fading" ♡ Water Series

Hey guys, it's Lina. Thanks for joining me today as I work on a new painting for my water series. I'm working with oil on canvas and I spent about a week and a half building up the layers of this painting. I also started experimenting with a gray palette to see if it's more comfortable for mixing colors and establishing accurate values, and so far I really like it. The first layer usually never comes out as accurate as I want, but it's just the foundation which I build upon and whatever looks off to me I will fix as I progress further into the work. Since the face in the painting is angled, I had to flip the painting over to get a Subscribe if you haven't and you'll see tons of new work from me. Thank you so much for watching, I hope I see you next week. Bye!
