Brady's Take On Trails EP3 Banjo Snapper in Queenstown, NZ

Hey, welcome back to another episode of Brady's Take on Trails Today we're in Queenstown where I've been living this summer And we're going to ride Banjo Snapper It's pretty steep, it's a few rock rolls and drops So we're going to stop and check those out along the way down So we're at the first feature on the track There's kind of like two lines You can see there's like a wider line there Which is a bit smoother coming in But it does make the angle into the corner at the bottom a bit weirder So I prefer to go down the straight line Down these kind of like rolling rocks And then you drop off the end And it lines me up better into the berm at the bottom And then you have to basically control your braking as you go down And then let off going off the drop And then straight back on the brakes So you don't die Pretty spicy warm up I just went straight over the berm Just because I landed the drop a little bit weird and off balance But next time should be a bit smoother Hopefully Done the first couple of features Now this one, there's a lot less rock on it It's just kind of dirt But you just want to come in really slow Get this turn out of the way And then it's pretty much straight line all the way down This is quite fun We've just done that steep rock roll Now we're basically moving into the woods part of the track This section is kind of a cool little drop You just set up wide there Go kind of slow Because there's not heaps of landing And then just kind of plop off there Plop, just a nice plop Just a little plop I believe this is the official banjo snapper drop Yeah, someone must have had a hard time with their banjo down here Basically there's kind of two main lines here You can go inside down that sort of V there Or around a bit wider And that I'd say sets you up better into the corner So I'll probably do that I think someone actually has jumped off this top bit And landed in the corner But I'm not going to do that today I'm going to do something here Which is not crazy But I'm just going to like jump off that rock And land the other side of the berm Just to make a fun wee gap But it's not crazy Just for fun We've got another little steep rock roll Basically not much transition at the bottom So you've got to really control your speed coming in So that you can like stay close to the rock on the compression To make it less sketchy So I'll give that a go Nice and slow Oh my god 哇 Well that's basically the end of the trail Hope you enjoyed taking a lap down Banjo Snapper with me And yeah keep an eye out for the next video Are you recording?
