That is a 100 inch mark of axis deer right there. New bow, new species. Great thing about Texas is we're in a target rich environment. Turkeys have been giving us just a hard time this morning so we're gonna go, we did see some axis on our last little turkey roundabout walk to try to get one fired up so we're gonna kind of slow play. We got the wind in our favor. We're gonna slow play through just kind of super thick stuff and maybe shoot an axis buck. Willie's gonna come with us. Hopefully we can one, two, shoot some, shoot some axis bucks. Our standards are kind of low. There's a lot of deer and we got a good one in our favor. I mean those are our three best things. Yeah, low standards, ton of deer. We got a lot of arrows, ton of deer. That's the average. That's right. 100%. So I'm excited. Hopefully we kill something. Little axis bedding. It's just kind of like a little rise and Willie says they find a ton of sheds and stuff so it's a good bedding area and then on the back side of that is where we saw a couple of axis deer when we went on a little turkey walk so just walking really slow, wind in our face, glass in every couple yards. Just trying to find them while they're bedded or up feeding and kind of working in on them. Right there. Probably not by himself but yeah. We hope he's by himself. I hope. It's the pig ard though because it wouldn't make sense if it just kept going. Little ones? Yeah. Oh to the right. Bedded velvet. Yeah. What's that? Are they still walking that way? No. Want to go back a little bit? Could just come with, we should come back a little bit with this. we're trying to swing around we saw we spotted the one buck and then we spotted the whole herd like right just like that so then we swung way around on them trying to get the wind right for the whole herd and then we're just gonna try to get visual on them again and try to figure out if we can just kind of wait them out until maybe they do something highly underestimated the Arkham IRL right there I think it's literally stuck again will we get it done today probably we got a lot of wind today which is fantastic overcast turkeys gave us a run around again this morning so we're gonna take our anger and frustration out on hopefully a big old 34-inch double coddled double front bladed wide axis Willie's with us Monty's with us we have a whole crew it's fine stocked four deep yeah that's not the kicker one that's just another the left ones the kicker one yeah I mean he's definitely 30 plus shooter yeah oh yeah that kicker buck That deer could go 36, 37 inches. I might have cactus on me. That was a long stock so one was bedded right on the other side of this tree right there I shot over one yeah there was like one at 10 and then 20 and then I shot one of the further ones in the group that was fun though I enjoyed that like nonetheless and that was just a lot of fun challenging that was a that wasn't even a crawl that was a scoop I didn't go above two inches well let's give him a minute this bush was blocking like six of them bedded yeah they were just bedded right over here and I shot through this little window when he stood up and worked left yeah yeah close very close right there and then I think there was another one close right here oh yeah they had no idea that's why they all just stood up there like what happened and then he just ran and bedded back down. Blood, blood, blood. Oh right here yep here's my other one. That one got him good. Oh yeah he's right here. Big body again. Oh he's pretty. That was awesome. Spot and stock I mean that was like meal deer, elk like mixed all together. What did you say in the intro 34 inches? 32 I was thinking. No in the intro. Oh yeah yeah yeah. Big old 34 inch double coddled double front bladed wide axis. This is a big deer. Belly crawled for 50 yards 60 yards. I don't know if we got the shot or not we got to review it but regardless that was awesome. Oh my gosh. 35? Look at that get a tight shot of that. Oh my goodness. That is the 200 inch mark of axis deer right there. Oh. See I took the small side first and he was 34 7 8 and I was like oh gosh. 35 incher spot and stock dude. Not sitting over anything spot and stock buddy. Spot and stock. Unreal. Wow beautiful velvet too. Swirl like this is phenomenal. Phenomenal. Man.
