CREEPY ABANDONED RAILYARD - P&LE Railroad Gateway Yard with Control Towers in Lowellville, Ohio

Opened in 1957, the railyard spanned 200 acres and serviced Pittsburghs and Youngstown steel mills. Freight cars were classified and sorted here. Also this railyard was an interchange with B&O and New York Central. On the site is the yard tower and yard office as well as the car repair facilities. Bought by CSX and shuttered in 1993
