100 YEAR OLD LIGHTHOUSE & tour of Headlands Beach State Park - Mentor, Ohio

I explore Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor, Ohio and show you some of the changes they’ve made in preserving wildlife as well as the 100 year old Fairport Harbor light house and pier. A huge ship from Canada joined us too. Some of the beach is roped off to preserve the piping plover bird. In 2017 they added a boardwalk and observation deck through the sand dunes. The swimming beach is 1/2 mile long. There are renovations being made to some old buildings.
