On Oct. 29, 2025, PA state senator Doug Mastriano gave a powerful speech at Falun Dafa Awareness Day Event inside PA state capitol building. He strongly condemned the persecution of Falun Gong and the transnational repression.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is my distinct honor to introduce our main speaker today — Senator Doug Mastriano.
A man of unwavering conviction, courage, faith, and compassion, Senator Mastriano stands as a true voice of reason and a defender of freedom and champion of human rights in our time.
Military & Service
Senator Mastriano served honorably in the United States Army for over 30 years, retiring as a Colonel. His distinguished military career took him from the Iron Curtain in Germany to the deserts of Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, and later to Afghanistan, where he led NATO intelligence operations. His lifetime of service reflects deep dedication to the defense of liberty and the protection of human dignity.
Academic & Professional Accomplishments
A scholar as well as a soldier, Senator Mastriano earned a Ph.D. in History along with four master’s degrees in Strategy, Strategic Intelligence, Military Operations, and Airpower. He has taught at the U.S. Army War College and authored several acclaimed works on military history and leadership.
Public Service & Advocacy
Elected in 2019 to represent Pennsylvania’s 33rd Senate District, Senator Mastriano has become known as a champion of human rights and a steadfast advocate for the oppressed.
He speaks boldly and compassionately for human rights across all communities — standing against worldwide persecution wherever it occurs, whether it affects Christians, Falun Gong practitioners, or any people of faith or conscience.
